Good morning,

Yesterday's condo

10/8 AMPS=103; +2=81; +3=77; +9.75=103
10/8 PMPS=92; +1=76; +2=34; +2.5=56; +3=56; +3.5=50; +4=65; +5=95; +7=122

10/9 AMPS=121; +2=167; +9=167
10/9 PMPS=148; +2=110; +4=117; +6.5=131

Lucy got a reduction last night. Her new dose is 0.75 unit.
I'm still sleepy, but I like it much better to deal with low numbers in PM cycles when I don't have to worry about work.
I couldn't split prednisolone evenly yesterday even though I use a pill splitter, and she got a smaller half yesterday and a larger half this morning.
So, I'm not expecting her to go much lower this morning.

Lucy is feeling good. Her appy is so-so.
I think it's partly because she's tired of having FortiFlora mixed in her food.
I don't want to stop yet since her poop is not completely normal, but I'm going easy on the amount....
It may not be enough, but I think a little bit is better than none.
Her energy was little low yesterday despite the nice numbers, but improved slightly by the time we went to bed.
This morning, her mood is so-so, probably similar to last night.

This could be a bounce, or the larger half of pred.
I hope she doesn't go higher......

Your shifting of evening to be the action time seems to be a much better approach.
Despite the higher +2, it sounds, since you figured out the pred, that Lucy is much improved.

Hi Mariko,

Hope Lucy did not go too much higher today~ I am lucky that Cleo likes the forti flora. All three of my kitties do. Opie (youngest) lunges at the little packet while I am trying to open it. :lol: I have to body block him ! :shock:

Congrats on the reduction! It sounds like you are getting all the meds and such balanced quite efficiently . . . what a pro you are, Mariko!

I hope Lucy doesn't turn up her nose at the FortiFlora since it seems to be helping avoid the liquipoo! Have a nice evening!

She ate her FortiFlora flavored dinner better tonight. :smile:
And if she was having a mini-bounce this morning, she is doing quite well clearing it.
No poop today yet, but maybe it's not a bad thing- giving her poop some time to firm up a little before coming out. :-D

The truth is, I haven't really figured out much.
I'm just sailing alone Captain Lucy!
And paying attention to all comment/advice/suggestion I receive here.
But I do feel quite clever about using the steroids negative side-effects to my advantage. :lol:
