Good Afternoon LL
I started this condo at 9:00 this morning and now just getting it finished  I am having some troubles keeping up with my condos these days
Sorry! Just crazy busy.
Hoot is doing great this morning. All 5 P's and appy are good
Thanks for all the replies yesterday. Sorry I didn't get back on my condo again, I was just exhausted when I got home.
I did buy the new meter from Walmart and it is working good so far dancing_cat
I decided to start the Terumo syringes last night as Ann suggested to save a couple Relions to play around with. There is quite a difference in 1u with the Relion and 1u with the Terumo's. A big difference. The Terumo's are much less, so I'm actually giving him a reducie just switching syringes. But thanks for all the advice of not to do everything at once. So first is the syringes. I will watch his Bg's for 6 cycles and then decide what to do with his dose. Sorry I wasn't clear about what I wanted. I really just wanted to know not how much to increase, but when I should with the syringe change. Maybe he didn't really need a dosecrease, but he will now.
Devon,
Yes, it was a nice drop for Hoot but tried to get 3 more readings with errors so just gave up :-x
Hi Jess,
Welcome to our condo. Yeah, that picture of Hoot was taken out back on the stairs to the deck. He was chillaxing. Thanks!!
Ann,
THANKS so much for all the great caliper info (and Marje too!) I don't use them but think I will pick up some. I have been playing a little with the 2 syringes and what a difference
It doesn't make sense to me why syringes aren't required to be more uniform with each other. Seems like that could be dangerous in some situations. So now time will tell us what to do with his dose. Thanks again!
Jane,
I think between Josie and I, you should be getting all kinds of Terumo info for when yours get here and good luck. Oh yeah, enjoying this cool Fall weather??
Carla,
It seems like everything hit at the same time, syringes, meter and possible dosecrease  So it's one step at a time ;-)
Julie,
Thanks for the advice. I agree there are to many things happening all at once so I will just change syringes first. The rest will follow.
Marje,
Not sure what a micropippetor is, so will have to look that up  But glad it helped you. Hopefully I won't be switching syringes again for a long time.
I am going to get a caliper tho just because it gets very hard to get those tiny doses exact every time. Thanks for everything and all your great info!
Have a great day LL :YMPEACE:
