Good Afternoon LL. DH here. The schedule is back to normal Wednesday around here with Marje at work and me chasing stubborn cats around trying to bend them to my will. Hopeless.

First an update on Gus. Marje put the details of his vet visits on yesterdays condo. This morning he is still eating on his own, not as much as I would like but some. The good thing is he is actively asking for it, not having to take it to him and wake him up to eat. It is obvious he still doesn't feel like his normal self, but he is better today than yesterday, and hopefully he is better again tomorrow. No vomiting or soft poos for a day. We are just grateful it apparently isn't his kidneys. If its just a GI issue and not anything worse we will get him through it. Thank you all for your prayers and kind words.

Gracie is still going great on this dose, (although I could do without the little trip to the 40's this morning LBG.) Maybe I'm imagining it, but it seems like she has been checking on Gus the last couple of days. She will walk around the house until she finds him, give him a sniff and a head boop, and then go about her business. Such a sweet girl. Tobey is doing great as usual.

I'm glad Gus is doing a little better today. Sending prayers for him.

She probably is. Our kitties are so sensitive.

That is so sweet about Gracie and I absolutely believe she IS doing it. So glad to hear Gus is doing better, too.

Awww, I loves that little Gracie girl.

I'm glad Gus is eating on his own, Mike. Every baby step is good news.

So glad that Gus is doing a bit better. Hope he continues to improve and gets his appetite back. We have him in our Prayers. Sending him lots of appy and get well vines.

Gracie you're looking real good today, although you could have skipped that 43 there LBG.. I'm sure she knows Gus is feeling well and has a genuine concern for him.

One day at a time, Mr Gus. I hope he continues to improve. Yes, Gracie. We know ALL of the attention should be on you, but really. Let's stay out of the 40s lil one.

Thanks for the update about Gus. So nice to hear he's doing a bit better, and I hope he will be even better tomorrow. Love and rest and head-bunts from Gracie help, for sure.

Great Gussie update...I hope his appy continues to perk up. Yep, that Gracie is a sweet one!

Hi Marge & Mike,

I so sorry; that poor little Gus has been sick and really relieved that he's starting to feel better! I hope he continues to improve quickly.

And look at that little Gracie go! What a nice bg curve she's been running! :smile: Keep it up Sweetiepie!

We always enjoy and appreciate your visits. LBG put her dad through the paces today and earned another reduction even with him testing and feeding. She Lil Stinka'd him :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Gussie is still eating a reduced amount of food but he's eating and drinking. He had a semi-solid poo and did not vomit so...progress. Sure wish he weren't so wobbly but his potassium is good so it's most likely just lack of muscle and being weak.

Just got home from TBP and looks like I'll be furloughed come Tues if something isn't done by....well..I won't even say what I was going to. At any rate, dinner time and then I'll BBL.
 
Gracie really kept Mike on his toes today :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I love how he told how sweetly she keeps checking on Gus. cat_pet_icon She must be so in tune with him. I am glad Gus is eating, and sending vines for him to feel stronger!

I am so glad to hear about Gus's improvements. :-D
Great news that he is asking for food, and he is not vomiting.
I hope he keeps improving.
Sending more healing vines to Gus.

So sweet of Gracie to check on Gus to make sure he's OK.
Makes me want to hug them both.
