Happy Tuesday and sending out many healing vines to Tarragon today and any others who need them. Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to Kathy and Angela as their sweet babies Cleo and Josie crossed the Bridge. LL holds you both close in our hearts.
Mike did a fabulous job with Gracie while I was gone and I think she wore him out! But she is doing spectacular and I got a great welcome home just a bit ago with she and Tobey wrestling and hopping in and out of the suitcase as I was unpacking. Those two
will always make us laugh....what a pair. She is such a delicate, little thing and he's such a muscular baby boy but she can sure put on that tomboy stinkeye and get him in an unforgiving headlock and all you see of him is those bush baby eyes
We are concerned about Gracie's liver values...her ALT has not changed since the last bloodwork two weeks ago. She's been on clavamox six weeks and the vets think it's done all it will do. Dr. B is talking to the IM specialist today to see what the next step is...try another A/B or what. She mentioned a needle biopsy of the liver but the U/S showed it as totally normal and I don't think we want to do that until we've tried another A/B. Will keep you all posted. It's befuddling....she is eating well, romping, stomping, playing, perfect poos...I have no idea what could be causing her ALT to be elevated.
Trip went fine. Mom is ok...glad I got to go check on her and spend some time with my sisters. I also got to see my favorite aunt who has Alzheimers. That was tough....she didn't recognize us by name but knew we were relatives. We had a lovely visit but my cousin said that 30 minutes after we left, our aunt did not even remember we had been there.
We have a couple errands to run and will BBL. Have a great day.
