Good morning!! It is an absolutely gorgeous day in Tucson!!! Gracie would like to invite all of her LL friends over for the day to lay out by the pool, lay in the sunny catnip patch, or stretch out in the sun on the catio.

Welllll......shame on me! I did not get up and test Gracie last night and I got a green AMPS. I was so utterly exhausted from the all-nighter the night before and she was going up at +3. I know she onsets at +5...I shoulda checked her but there has been only once when she went up at +3 that she s-l-o-w-l-y came back down. I am hoping that this 99 was her nadir. She was sleeping on the pillow next to me and I faintly remember her giving me a little meow and a pat on the face with her paw...I thought "I should get up and check her" but when I moved my arm, she flopped down and snuggled into my arms where she likes to sleep and so I thought that was all she wanted. I don't think I moved all night. So...not anything I can do about it now but she seems her usual happy, chirpy, purr purr purr self this morning....diving into the tissue paper. She is slowly getting her lev rise and so we'll see what the day brings.

I got through most of my chores yesterday but the highlight of my day was I got to meet Rosalie and Morgaine!!! I went by to meet them and drop off the vial of lantus my vet gave me. Rosalie is a very kind, lovely lady and I'm so glad we got to visit.....she is a sweetheart. And Morgaine...Beautiful calico girl!!! We talked about how she probably has a good deal of Maine Coone in her....she's a big kitty (not fat....BIG). She is so gorgeous and I was thrilled that she let me pet her. I could tell how devoted Rosalie is to Morgaine just in reading her condos but I so admire all she studies and reads and knows about diabetes so she can manage her own but also Morgaine's.

if only the fairies would've checked her while you slept . . . looks like it was her low point, so all have made it through that night!

Linda: I think you are right...time will tell. Gracie is usually a 24 hours later bouncer.

Julie: If only. Mike and I think it was her low point, too. If she comes down faster and gets low....she usually stays there through PS.

Very nice numbers today Ms. Gracie!

I so enjoyed our brief get together too! Thanks for the lovely compliments to both of us. I am very much into my girl. She is a joy in my life and we have been through much together. Whenever I look at her she makes me smile, no matter what is going on. She still loves me even though i torture her with ear pokes. :lol:

What a great day for Miss Gracie. I too would love to meet some of the wonderful people here in LL (and of course their kitties, too!).

Hope Tobey is doing ok.

What an absolutely lovely AM cycle for Gracie today... nice and flat indeed!!! I know you guys have been waiting for one of these!

Hope you get Tobey's meds figured out soon... didn't chime in there as I've got nothing. :-D Fingers and paws crossed that all is back to normal for him soon!

What a great cycle for Gracie today, and she just keep on going! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I guess the gitrls jsut need to settle in on their own terms. i hope all works out w/ Tobey, I guess you need ot wear the patience pants for him too. :roll:

How great that you got together w/Rosalie and Morgaine. Maybe we need to organize a west coast reunion. I just don't know when, if ever Tess will let us go on trips again.

Georgia: thanks!! I know...it would be so much fun to meet. And I'm concerned about Tobes but.....

Christie: YAY....I like the flat today!! We have been waiting. I know on Tobey....he's such a little trooper.

Ann: paws crossed.....and yes they do need to settle in on their own terms. Wouldn't that be fun..we could leave the DH's home to test cats :lol: :lol: :lol: Ooopps...sorry, sweetheart...I forgot you read these when you're gone. ;-)
 
I'm late to the dance, but had to stop in to say hi!!! Grace has looked absolutely mahvaleous today!!! I hope this continues.

BTW....I decided to really give my bathroom a deep cleaning today and it took me TWO HOURS. My shower now looks like it's brand new, but I have learned to hate glass shower walls. I've also remembered how much I hate housework!!
