Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is having a good morning. Very early--way before dawn-- he was trying to hack up some "gunk", but is fine now and sounds normal. He had a good test, shot, breakfast (1st sitting), lung treat, a chillax in his bed by the radiator, a good combing, a good play with the "chipmunk" on a pole that his Auntie Lindabean gave him. He also played "tube ball" with the bell balls. He hasn't wanted to play much this summer, so I am glad to see him take an interest in playing again. We have a beautiful sunny day, cool, after the big storms yesterday. We'll go outside later, when the day warms up.

Sending good thoughts and healing vines to all those kitties and beans who need some,

Nice blue for Rusty! Playing is a good thing. Maybe he just finally feels good with the weather cooling off. Have a great day Ella!

Hey Rusty, what's the bounce for? Tess is waiting in the Lagoon!

Tess is playing more lately too, or maybe it's because she's keeping us up until the wee hours and we see it because that's her playtime! :roll:

I hope your area fared well in the storm. John's family is in Rapid City and they are still w/ out power. His DB lost several head of cattle. Some were wandering on the interstate! Fortunately it was closed down. I think he need to get a "Jenny"! At least they still have the old kitchen wood stove in the basement.

It's good to hear Rusty is being playful. I hope he turns things around and heads back to the lagoon.

Hi again,
further and further away from the lagoon. There must have been a fur shot either last night or this morning. Neither shot felt "right", but we didn't smell Lev., so who knows. Rusty had a big appetite today, cleaning his dish each time; unusual for a kitty who is a grazer. In any event, I'm going to give him another day on this dose and then take him back up a drop if we see no progress. Tomorrow we're going to be out all day leading a paddle to a distant, wilderness lake, so he won't get a dosecrease until Thursday, if one is warranted.

Today was a beautiful, sunny day and the rest of the week promises to be nice as well. We're supposed to have a frost tonight.

I'm caught up in the baseball playoffs. Edward can't understand why I like baseball so much! :lol:

Ella & Rusty (chillaxin' on the couch, watching the Detroit-Oakland game and, of course, rooting for the TIGERS!!)

Darn about leaving the lagoon, but I hope Rusty's back there soon.
I laughed at your description of starting the day with a nice hacking up of gunk.
I don't know how it is at your place, but there's a Law of the Universe that I have to step in it first thing in the morning.
 
Pink this evening. Wonder where/how that came from? Maybe a fur shot last evening? Maybe a bounce from the steep drop yesterday? Perplexed. Hearty appetite today.

Hi Ella - sorry for the late visit... Sorry too to see Rusty on the pink floor. Maybe a fur shot today? I dunno... It's great though that the appy etc is good. It sounds like gorgeous fall days there. YAY! Ours was ncie today too. Enjoy your paddle tomorrow. Elsa will be there bright and early. :-D

Sorry about the pinks on Rusty - they really aren't his colours. I hope he's sliding down tonight. "Perplexed" - boy, do I know that feeling. :lol: :lol:

Just dropping by to say 'Hi' to you and Rusty. Glad he got the gunk hacked up. I never have been much into watching sports either....which makes me all but sacrilegious in Texas.
I need to read up more on Rusty..what is the lung treatment he gets?

Thanks for visiting us the other day. I loved seeing you in our condo..just like old times. I miss you Ella. I got a bug coming back to visit...now I don't want to leave. But no one has offered us a permanent rental. Maybe I need something like your NY apt...a LL pied-à-terre?

You are out paddling around to distant lakes about now... My life always feels so mundane when I read your condo. Hopefully you will still read last night's condo even if you open a new one later today. And hope you had a great day on the lake!!
