Spent the day yesterday out shopping at every nearby Walmart stores to see if the clearance on Relion strips was a system wide thing or just a single store thing. I can't figure it out. One store had everything at full price, another store had meters on clearance but not the strips and the original store that started this all had both meters and strips on clearance. I asked the staff at that store why it was all on clearance and they had no clue. Well, I guess that is why they call it bargain hunting and not bargain finding...

Vines to all kitties and beans in need. Usually I send lush, healthy, green, mid-western vines, but I feel like the fall weather followed me home from WI. We have had lots of cloudy and rainy weather and the leaves are falling in the yard. I'm not yet inspired enough to rake them. Maybe I can run them over with my lawn mower before pulling out the snow blower for a seasonal tune up!

I use the ReliOn Prime, and they barely keep the strips/testers in stock at my Walmart. I got so tired of driving there only to see they are out of stock of anything diabetes related that I now have to order online and then pick up.

I've bought the insulinx strips for the Alphatrak meter for a great price on Ebay, but I'm not using those as much.Those were a great price, but everyone here uses human meter numbers so not spending any more money on those.

I just checked Ebay for the ReliOn strips I'm using now, but didn't find them' cheaper than Walmart. I buy 100 strips for $17.88. I'm not a regular Ebay user so maybe there is a better way to search?

ReliOn micro/confirm strips are only $17.88 for 100 at Walmart? That is cheaper than ebay

Yeah, the confirm/micro strips are a lot more $, I should just get a Prime meter after I run out of micro/confirm strips. Thanks!

You're welcome. That's what I ended up doing too. I bought a Freedom Freestyle on my first day, realized it was cheaper to just get a new meter rather than keep buying those strips.
