So he broke his blue streak already this morning. I have already seen him meatloaf a couple of times, so I knew he wasn't feeling well before I even tested him. Still has a healthy appetite though!

Blood work results are in the previous condo. I am going to cross post to health this morning.

Nice AMPS, but where are you going Oscar with that +3?
Glad you posted in health too Kelly...what did your vet say about the results?

We are double checking the hemobart to see if that is the cause of the anemia and she thinks the lymphocytes are due to acute infection.... of what, we don't know yet.

I hope so too. Hopefully I will get a call from the vet this afternoon with the results.

So far no one has responded to my blood work post in health. So discouraging that we don't know what is going on. He looks ok - and I thought the numbers thing was all his anal glands being too full, until this morning when he obviously wasn't feeling well.

+7 is 211 today

Hoping Oscar improves very quickly from his infection.

That's a nice slow drop from +3 to +7, though.

Not to hijack your post, Kelly, but what exactly is "meatloafing?" I think I know, but am not positive.

meatloafing looks kinda like this:

Though when Oscar does it.... he hunches over with his front paws still on the ground and not tucked in like this photo. I'll try to take a snap shot of him next time he does it.

He has done it once more this afternoon that I have seen. I was gone this morning for a couple of hours though. I almost hope this is hemobart. Easily treatable and no long term issues at all..... nailbite_smile

I will definitely post as soon as I know something.

+9 is 250. Thinking back - I know I opened a new flat of Chopped Grill FF this morning. If this trend continues, I might have to do food experiments again ohmygod_smile
