A special fond remembrance today of Bear Man, who crossed to the bridge two years ago today... Never forgotten Bear Man!

Yesterday was..... GREEN DAY in MannieLand. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: WOOT!!! WOO HOO!!! YAY!!! YAHOO!!! Rumor has it too that the Blue Mannie Group also made an appearance on the shores of the lagoon, entertaining all the kitties that remained in the lagoon. Well done Mannie: Green and a live BMG performance! It was very nice to see those greens yesterday - Looks like the new dose is a winner! :-D We hope for a repeat performance today, PAWS CROSSED! but..... with that amps??? Dounbtful! ohmygod_smile One can safely say we have bounced for all that great yesterday.... Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D :-D More great weather yesterday - I cannot believe this Fall so far - no rains, sunny warm weather. Our Fall colors in the trees is just outstanding. I could not hike yesterday, as Mannie needed my attention in the morning. Once he settled he was so happy to go outside, and I was so happy to hike the local woods here. A win-win for both of us. He spent about half an hour out there - checking the perimeter, looking for intruders, patrolling the yard. Once inside he settled into his bed, where he spent most of the day. We had a few ventures to the stairs for some sunbeam sunning, but soon back to the nanners. Odd I thought as it isn't that cold, and he loves sunning on the stairs. Then I saw why.... seems DGS had left him a couple of nanners in his bed Saturday evening when they were here. I knew it was DGS from the way they were placed. :cool: :cool: Ah Mannie.... way too cute! :-D ;-) ;-) This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a few cuddles. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I hope to hike today - we shall see. Depends on the weather and the air quality at the hike destination. We are still having a few issues with the wildfires and what the smoke has done to breathabilty in a few areas. so maybe... not too sure yet. If not... there's always my shore walk - nice in its own right.

Hey everybody! Today is a special day for me... It was two years ago today that Bear Man, my twin look-alike and bestest buddy, crossed to the Bridge. I so want to remember him today... Maybe we can travel to Canada where he lived, pay Auntie Linda a visit, and remember him together. You guys in? Afterwards we could, I hope, chillax for a few on Rusty's porches... share stories and stuff, some good grillin', time together. What'd'ya think? Let me know... ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle and yum on the special Salted Caramel Mocha~O) ~O) sorry on the bouncy this morning! Mannie sure did great yesterday holding onto the greens and then surfing blue. I am afraid lil Missy Maggie didn't follow in Mannie's footprints and instead was a little bouncy! So cute with DGS leaving Mannie some nanners in his bed. I bet Mannie can't wait to see him again. Have a great day and hope the air quality will be okay for a hike. There is always the shore walk.

Mannie, sounds like a really nice thing to do with visiting Bear Man 's Beanm Auntie Linda. I think she could use some company from all of us. We can pick some flowers for her, too! Yeah, chillaxin on Rusty'a porch in some fleect sounds like fun. Maybe we can see some deer friends, too. See ya at the curb, Mags

Hi Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on today - a bummer, but kind of expected. I had hoped it would not be as bad as it is. At least he is coming down. I guess his internal organs were so upset by all that green yesterday. sheshhhh! :lol: I thought so too on the nanners - what cuteness. :-D I am going to take a chance on the air over there, and go. Visibility is at 30 miles, so maybe it will be good. It is an "easy" hike, so not too taxing, should be OK. :-D :-D :-D

Maggie - cool! I LOVE the flower idea - very nice moggie. let's do that too! I thinks we ahve a plan.. I hope so too on the deer at Rusty's. Ok - picks you up at the curb! ~~ Mannie

That's a big bounce Mannie! But, at least he's working on clearing it AND he gave you a permission slip at the same time. Enjoy the hike!!!

So that's who Neko was following this morning! I got a note from Neko about a rainbow kitty convention somewhere. I sure hope Mannie gets over this B quickly. After all, they were some nice high safe greens. And beautiful to see in Mannie's condo. Sorry I couldn't do more than pop in yesterday as it was family Thanksgiving Day here.

I tried a salted caramel mocha a couple of days ago. Next time maybe I'd go lighter on the salt but it was a nice variation. I hope you are out enjoying some nice clean air somewhere Michelle.

What a great day you had yesterday!!! Ok Mannie loves to bounce but that's what made him the olympic diving champ!!--Glad I know he will clear this bounce soon & be either Blue Mannie Group, or close to it!!

Remembering Dear Dear Bear Man today..and feeling the Memories of him!! Linda, we all loved him..Now he's with all our GA's playing & having fun.. Hugs for comfort to you!

235 @ PMPS. WOO HOO! We are no longer in the Red Zone. Hooray on that! that was so painful to see this morning.

Hike was great! I went to Leavenworth, on the eastern side of Stevens Pass, to hike icicle Gorge. The haze/smoke for the wildfires has rally enveloped the town there, but the trail, 16 miles west of town, was relatively clear. That was a nice! Fall colors were everywhere, larches were coming into their own, the creek/river was so so pretty. I had a great time! I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Amy - what a bounce this morning! ohmygod_smile He did well clearing it, and yupp! He was also kind enough to let me take off today. What a guy! :-D And THX: hike was really good.

Hi Barb - That he did, not too fast either. At least he didn't dive. :-D And thanks - went on a hike, it was fun, and HEY!: I SAW COWS in some fields on the drive over. I thought of you.....

HI Wendy - OH NO! Mannie talked Neko into going to the red bistro with him? ohmygod_smile Oh Mannie.... and then he calls a rainbow convention??? what will I do with that boy! :shock: :roll: And me too on the bounce. The greens were safe ones, but I think that it has been so long since he has seen hem that his internal parts just went into over dive, and up he went. I am glad he has come down, and look forward to seeing what eh can do tonight. No worries on yesterday - I know how it is when family duty calls. family first!, as it should be. I agree on the salted caramel - but it is nice for a change.

Hi Linda!!! Thanks for the visit! Well, Bear Man will always have a special place in my heart. I had to remember him today, as did Mannie. I was so taken back by the 5 photos you posted on FB: all the poses looked just like Mannie, right down to the facial expressions - so so uncanny! We will always remember Bear Man, quite the legend here.

Hi Roni - upp - yesterday was SO GREAT! Expected that bounce, as you said: he is the FDMB Olympic diving champ, and bounces come with that territory. :lol: :lol: SO agreed on Bear Man, and DGS - love that kid! and yes - made the hike,. had a great time!

HI Carla - THX! - I did! It was so nice - a river one, with tons of fall color. I hope so too on the blues and greens- headed down, so maybe he will pay the blues a visit tonight. I thought so too on the nanners being left there - it made me smile this AM when I saw them. :-D

Hi Melissa - Rainbow kitty for sure - or so I think it will be. I expect him to hit the blues tonight, not too sure on the greens. maybe we can count those from yesterday. :lol: :lol: THX on the hike - it was so nice: fall everywhere. The colors in the mtn passes were so outstanding!
