LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, want to make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! The tuna cheese been perfected, and, as a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too!

I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. Weather has been just awful since last night, after a glorious sunset - lots of rain. It was hard to say what yesterday would do, it was such an assortment of all kinds of things predicted, different but still wet just about everywhere, so.... finally found a dry spot, sorta. Well the radar said it would be dry, so we took a chance. ;-) I was glad that the outdoors looked doable, for a bit in the morning. The boys were too! We were off to a river park. :-D :-D :-D Her's what I wrote in last night's post: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one, good things happening. We did well here today, dodging nasty weather, and still making it outdoors for some fun for the boys. For a while there I wasn't too sure how kind the weather would be to us. Weather has been such a mixed bag here - a little of everything from one or two sun rays to massive downpours... crAzy stuff going on out there. We got lucky, took advantage of a weather break, and headed on out. :cool: We ended up at the sammamish river at bothell landing park. It is always a good choice - it has about everything Nicholas could want to do, from ducks to a playground to a spot where he can wade and stomp and toss rocks in the river, which he did alot of.... The ducks were out in mass today. What fun that was for him. He spent time chasing them in the grassy section by the playground, and then at the section we hang out near the bridge. That was funny - he started to try and touch them, which ended up in a chase, which ended up in the ducks flying into the river, which prompted his telling them, several times: "No ducks! Stop! Not the river! PLEASE?!" oh hahaha. William was interesting - awake the whole time, no rest for grammie today. :lol: He seems to like the water too. What kid doesn't I guess. All in all, a very nice day for the boys. Clouds have just broken up some, the sun is out a little, it ought to be a really great sunset tonight. Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :cool: :cool: :cool: The rains were back yesterday, and with them came the sleepy kitties. I suspect too they were just worn out from "family night" the night before too. All of them spent the day sleeping. Well almost all. There is always Lola... Her latest: she thinks the garage should be her own personal space. uh no.... I'f never find her once she started exploring.... our garage isn't exactly the neatest pale on earth.... She will pound on that door, try to pry it open, claw at the door door, and lie in wait, in hiding, hoping she can sneak in when i go in there, :shock: :shock: :shock: sorry Lola, tat is a no go..... Yesterday Bug let Nicholas pet him - YAY! Small progress there. Nicholas just moved to fast for Bug, he sees him coming and its Splitsville. You can see that "OH OH" look on Bug's face. :lol: And Elsa? Rain = major napping, so she did! GOOOOOOOO Elsa! :cool:

Have a great day everyone. It is a Nicholas and William day today, and Nicholas and I are off to the pool. Good thing, as the rains are back in force this morning. My DMIL will watch William while Nicholas and I are at the pool. SWEET! I will try and get to condos when I can.

Sorry about the cruddy crazy weather. Nicholas sure had fun chasing those ducks though. :lol: Silly Lola. She is a determined kitty for sure. Have a great day Michelle!
 
Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) oh yes on the weather - kinda the way it is around here this time of year. :roll: Yes on the ducks, that was alot of fun: fun for him, fun for me to watch. :-D I could not agree more on Lola....
 
Oh Lola....I sooo understand that type of kitty persistence! On top of Frankie's scratching, our basement is the "no-kitty zone" because it's just too messy and dangerous (tools, wood piles, etc). Zen will try dashing down there if we dare leave the door open for a second too long....then it's a mad dash with one of us hot on his tail! I wish they understood why there are SOME restrictions!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) I too wish they understood why there are restrictions.Our garage isn't the safest place either, and way too many places for them to "hide". A "no zone" for sure! THX on today - it should be good. I hope so too on William. :-D
 
It looks like Nicholas had a lot of fun chasing those ducks. :lol: I hope Lola doesn't manage to get into the garage.
 
Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We did fairly well here. Swim days always tend to be good ones. Ah heck.... ALL THE DAYS WITH THE BOYS ARE GOOD ONES! :-D :-D There was large part of me that was glad that we swam today, as the weather really was nasty this morning, which is our normal activity time. After 1PM, naps are supposed to rule (LOL: when Nicholas takes them, William just sleeps when he wants).... The rains here were something fierce: buckets and buckets of wet stuff. By mid afternoon we had some clearing, and WOW: looking at blue skies and a setting sun. Kinda nice out there right now, 55 tops. A nice Fall afternoon. Pool was fun today. I continue to remain grateful to my MIL for watching William so Nicholas and I can go. We did close to 1.5 hours today. not too bad for the little man. LOL: He goes in there today telling me he wants to swim, not just play. well OK then, so he did. Lots os swims, lots of underwater. Right now I could care less what it looks like, as long as he loves it and tries for as long as he wants, and comes up with a smile on his face. We spent most of the time today in the big pool. Fun stuff. We go back on FR, when my MIL has time again to care for William. WOOT I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Carla - OH YES (!!!) on those ducks. It was so fun to watch him. Me too on Lola - we sure do try to keep her out of there. Too many places, far back and deep into the abyss places, that I'd nerve get her out until she as good and ready... :roll:
 
Great ducks- and- Nicholas video! Those poor ducks must have been relieved to get to the sanctuary of the river! :lol:

I hope your pool day was lots of fun. It's great that your DMIL can take care of William so Nicholas can have his swim time. You and the family have to really juggle your hours to make it all come out right. Very impressive!

Elsa, the ~O) was delicious this morning. Tomorrow we're paddling on a wilderness lake (Lake Lila) and are looking forward to taking some of your excellent espresso along in our thermos.

Hi Ella :-D THX on the ducks and the vid! I am so sure they were glad the river was just over the edge... Nicholas was relentless with his chases. :roll: :lol: :lol: Pool Was FUN! I too am so grateful to her, my MIL. She is so good with the boys. :cool: AND thx, it does take alot of juggling to make it all work. Thanks for the comment! Ad will do on the rest. I-)

Hi Josie - THX - we did have a very good day, despite the weather. Boys just don't care all that much, so off we went. I though was glad we dodged the really wet stuff. :lol: One has to laugh atthose ducks. it was all such fun for Nicholas. He so wanted to catch one. ;-)
 
Hi Michelle, catching up on you and the Grandbabies and kitters. The video of Nicholas and the ducks is adorable. Sounds like a great time yesterday with the weather chances and all. We may get rain today! :-D for us. Lola makes me laugh hearing what she gets into every day. That's great with Bug coming around with Nicholas. Thanks to Elsa on my coffee, too. Have a great time today.

What fun for Nicholas - I was tired just watching him! :lol: :lol: I am happy that you have another helper (MIL) so you can still bring Nicholas to his favorite sport...swimming!!

These kitties keep us on our toes, trying to get into where they don't belong! They are quick and smart :-D I love my droolers, but they are sure not as quick or smart :lol: :lol:
