Morning All & Happy Caturday!

Sorry i missed checking back in last night, by the time i got in from work and drove out to my parents it was late.

Leo's blood draw went very well yesterday.....no gas/anesthesia!!! The vet told my dad that Leo was a good boy and that they just needed to take their time drawing his blood. I've got instructions for dental day, they would like for me to give Leo a half dose of insulin and feed him 1/4 of what i normally would feed him.

Leo and i are still at his grandparents, it was too late for us to drive home last night and i really didn't want to stress him out any more than i had to after his vetty visit. We had a good test, shoot and feed this morning, tho when i got up there was a ton of cat fuds left out for his majesty Leo and he snacked right up until his AMPS, that's what happens when you have grandparents that cater to Leo's every whim. "Well he was hungry!!" was the response i got........ahhhhhh its not even worth arguing anymore :lol: :lol:

At the moment Leo is out mousing, i told him to get his butt outside to catch one last mouse before we head home.

Glad all went well with Leo and the blooddraw and no gas/anesthesia. It sounds like Leo was a good boy, and Grandpa wanted him to have a full belly before going home. Leo, good luck with the mouse catching.

I had asked my vet what his recommendations were for food and insulin before a dental and he said the same thing as your vet!!! I'll be keeping an eye out to see how he does!

His numbers are looking pretty frickin spectacular!!!
 
Yeah I was surprised at the instructions for D day, I thought definitely no food after midnight, but we shall give it a shot I suppose. But just how the heck am I supposed to eyeball half of 0.75 dose of insulin?!?!?!

Tomorrow is our Thanksgiving and for some reason I said I would bake a pie and cheesecake since I had about 10lbs of blueberries I picked a few weeks ago.............except I'm not a baker!!! I don't even have a rolling pin and since I'm starting to bake so late I can't even go out and buy one.......what did I get myself into :roll: :oops: Hilarity to follow over the next few hours......I'm sure of it :lol:
 
Tracy: how wonderful the blood draw went well. I'm glad you made it back safely. We'll be keeping Leo in our thoughts and prayers on Monday.
