Happy Caturday Lantus Land!! Congrats to Raja and Heather on returning to the Falls. Many healing vines to Zoe and Rocket.
Gracie and I had quite the pj party last night but despite the number of pokes, she was a sweet baby. cat_pet_icon It was cold last night and I had the windows open and the fan on and she snuggled up in my arms and purred herself to sleep. Each time I got up to test her, she just kept purring and looked at me with those BIG, round brown eyes as if to say "can I charm you out of another poke?" :lol: :lol: She never moved out of her sleeping position so I did quick pokes and then curled back up with her. Tobey came in to cuddle only to find Gracie there :shock: :shock: :evil: :evil: He meowed at me a while and then laid down by me but I could tell he wasn't happy. Although it was a long night, we are sooooooo happy she has started working this dose.
I did alot of tests because Gracie hasn't had as much green on this dose and I wanted to get an idea of what her cycle might look like and because I don't really know what she'll do...not enuff data yet. What I "think" I am seeing is some nice overlap of the cycles...her nadir is late and then she just cruises right onto the next shot. The great thing was that even when she was low, I just gave her either 6% or 10% and she came right up (although the 44 yesterday got a FT of karo). This morning at AMPS, she was full and wouldn't eat her 4% or 6% which is what I wanted her to have so I just gave her a tiny bit of 10% just to be sure she had a little food in case she had another late nadir and wanted to drop some more. Then I took her and Tobes and went btb for a bit. Everyone is napping now but me!
Many chores to do the next two weekends in preparation for DS and his friend coming. Today is clean out the pantry and the laundry room shelves, clean out the video cabinet, and go through the closets. I also have to file the last of Teddi's insurance claims as they won't refund her premium until I file the one showing she crossed. I'm sure that will be a hard task but the ER stay was pricey.
