Good news today is Zener is eating a mix of 5 & 11% to make 8% almost all the time now. We are keeping paws crossed we can keep gradually reducing this to even lower carbs. :-D Looks like the big guy is going to run the full 72 hours on this bounce (I'm writing this so maybe he will break it today, when I get to work at home!).

Hello, Blues! He didn't eat at @+2 (and then burped a big one) so we gave him 1/4 tablet of Pepcid ac 10 mg. He ate 1 oz @+3 of about 9% carbs. Thank you, LL, for letting us know about pepcid.It has been a BIG help with appetite. Anne will be home for +4 and the rest of the day.

Poor Zener wanted to go out in his yard and right in the middle of doing "his business", it started snowing. He managed to do his thing, then came back in very quickly with snow flakes on his shiny black coat! ;-)

Hi Anne & Liz, that's a nice +4.5 and down to blue. The Pepcid does help them with the upset tummy. Wow, I can't beieve you have snow already. It's 70's here right now, but earlier in the am it was only 52 degrees!

Hi Ann, yes it is quite amazing how the temperature and weather can change at 7,000 feet! We are alternating between sun and clouds with intermittent snow showers. Zener has been out twice and each time, chased back in by snow showers. :-D

I believe he has "officially" busted this bounce!

Zener is acting full rather than tummy upset, but I did get him to eat a little freeze dried chicken at his poke, so I'm pretty sure he's just full or he's decided he hates his food again. :lol: Will check again in an hour and see how things look.

Zener is on his way up now +10 157. I probably overdid the carbs, darn it!

And yes, we have snow here! Not on the ground in Zener's backyard but 15 minutes away at 9000 feet!

Zener broke his bounce and even dipped his paddy paws in the green lagoon. Now, we have paws crossed I didn't carb him up too much and/or he won't get back on the trampoline! ;-)

We've been at this dose for a bit, but there have been several bounces plus nice blue runs. So, I'm not trusting that my count of number of cycles is accurate. We sure are glad to see some lovely blues (and even green) today! :-D

We're not coffee drinkers, but I do have the jug on for tea - black and lots of it! May be a PJ party tonight. ;-)

Hi Ann & Maggie, and what a poke-a-thon it was too. Of course, Zener is back in rebound city this morning - the greens plus the carbs. :sad:

And yes, the run Liz is doing is up in the peaks on trails. We had an early snow this week and approximately 3-5" in the highest parts of the run, temps in the teens or single digits at the start. It is very sunny, so the trails may be mud soup before the race is over.
