Yesterday

Happy appy, snuggly, spunky, feisty, and anti-jinxes. I held my breath and closed my eyes while the meter counted down, and was pleased to open my eyes to green .

Today I have to take my Mom for her eyeball injection for macular degeneration. The idea always gives me the willies, but it has kept her eye stable for several years now, so you do what you gotta do.

And with that, I have to get myself ready to go. Prayers to all here!

One of my co-worker's wife has this done monthly. The thought of it makes me ill, but she says there is absolutely no pain whatsoever!

My mother also needed that eyeball injection -I'd go in the room wth her and I agree -- I cringe just thinking about it
I can't imagine being an ophthalmologist and doing that. My mother only needed about 6 of them - she hasn't had one in about a year.
