Quiet day yesterday (cat-wise at least). Tink has been surfing in yellow & blue. The quiet cycles are nice... but I'd like them to be lower. Still, we've seen enough low numbers on this dose that I'm not quite ready to bump it back up just yet. We never saw a real bounce after his steep drop on 10/5's PM dose. Just surfed higher since then... so maybe that's the "new bounce"? We do seem to be seeing a decreasing increase at +2 (does that make sense? LOL). Yesterday he jumped up 75pts in the AM, then only 50 in the PM, then this morning it was just over 20pts increase. So that seems like a positive. Hopefully that'll let him start GENTLY SURFING into lower numbers? Hey... a girl can dream.

Despite his world being calm right now... I'm still ultra stressed. Goats were both due yesterday and there's no babies. They COULD go up to another 5 or so days... but I'm starting to REALLY worry that they are NOT pregnant... which would SUCK really bad. I've already been without my beloved goat milk for over a month. If there's no babies... there's no milk - and I have to rebreed and wait FOREVER (ok, 5 months... but close enough). There BETTER be a goat in labor when I get home!!!

Dang it. Still no goat babies... and we're still surfing in yellow. :YMSIGH:

Hi Jen,

I haven't visited for a week but you were expecting those kids then, weren't you? Sending go into labour vines to your does. I really hope that they are pregnant. What kind of goats do you have? Can you put a picture up? I want to get Australian Browns or Toggenburgs but that's a little while off for me. We've been buying local goats milk/cheese/yoghurt direct from a farmer but I'd love to milk my own.

What's that Tink? Oh! My apologies! I'll start again.... Eh-hum...

Hi Jen,
How's your handsome boy, Tink going? Sorry about the yellows. Fingers and paws crossed for that gentle surfing downwards. Did he always have a fluffy grey tummy? My little Jetzin (GA) got fluffy grey under his arms and on his tummy after we had him clipped as an older boy. He had some matts, wouldn't let me brush and summer was coming so we gave him an all over haircut - he was not impressed! I though he looked very distinguished when it grew back grey.

I hope morning greets you with a lovely amps (and some little kids).

Grace

Somebody needs to join the goat board!! HAHA. I have nigerian dwarfs - three does. Kids were due anytime from early last week through late this week - so I still have a couple days in the window possibility... but it's not looking good at this point. :( If you find me on Facebook (Jen Milton, in Washington), my "fun with goats" photo album is public. :)
