Georgia and Simon (GA)

I have been MIA the last few days due to work and just plain exhaustion. Simon has been all over the place with his numbers and also having some lb behavior issues. I've noticed that his bg is higher when I feed him the natural balance limited ingredients duck and venison food, but his ear scratching is alot less. Obviously, his ear scratching is probably due to food allergies. The problem is that I don't want his bg to go higher with the food that doesn't make his ear scratch. What do I do?
I have to tell you about a funny incident that happened because of Simon hating the new littler. I have been trying Worlds Greatest Cat Litter and Cleo has no problem with it. I didn't think Simon did either, until I found out that almost every day he is defecating on my rug in the living room. I cleaned it and then put some paper towels over the spot. Yesterday, I kept smelling poop in that area but didn't see anything and the paper towels were still in place. I decided to pick up the paper towels and underneath the towels, was the poop. Simon had moved the paper towels, pooped, and then pushed the towels back over his poop to cover the evidence. Very creative and smart thinking Kitty. Too bad the smell of his poop gave him away! Needless to say, I went back to using his old litter. When I showed him his litter box with his favorite litter, he immediately stepped into it and started peeing.
Sorry this is a pooping and peeing condo!
Happy Friday!!!!
