This is Sherlock's first day with insulin, and we're understandably nervous given previous experience. But! Everyone here has given me the courage to try again, and so far, we're having a good day. It took a little work to get his ears to cooperate this morning with our tests, but. We know we're just getting started.

Thank you again to everyone here, just keeping on and letting me know that we aren't alone and we can do this. We hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend!
 
I'm so glad you have started the insulin treatment for Sherlock, and that you are testing. It's wonderful news and I certainly wish you well. It is hard at first with the testing, but practice is going to solve the awkwardness and problems. You absolutely are not alone, all of us here are sugar kitty parents and remember the beginning of the "dance". I really look forward to your updates and progress, and getting Sherlock regulated (hopefully to remission!) and feeling a whole lot better. You should be extremely proud of yourselves.
 
This is the best place for help and courage and when we are in panic mode I have found reaching out helps so don't be afraid reach out. I thought my questions were stupid but I knew nothing and wonderful people here answered them no matter what. Your amoung friends let us help you
