hard to get going today.
We are at 34 degrees this morning. I love it. We just closed all the windows, it's 64 inside. No heaters will get turned on..yet.
Shadow is huddling under a halogen light and I bet spends a lot of time today on her heating pad.
DD made it thru yesterday just fine.

Yesterday the first store we went into in Albuquerque was Petco.
They were having a grand reopening sale and handed out $10 gift cards to the first 100 customers. We didn't even know about the sale.
They had pets outside to adopt so DH delayed coming in because he was looking at dogs ( no, we aren't )
They handed him a $10 card too.
So we got $20 off plus all the foods were on sale. I spent $80 plus the free $20. :thumbup

I hope Tarragon is healing well and can lose his cone soon.

and only 34 there? BRRRR! you beat Ella's 39. Mornings are now on the cold category. 19 in Idaho. :shock:

Excellent serendipity on the coupons, and your "lagging" DH! :-D

I love the cooler weather and sleeping with the windows open a little, or closed and no heat. We've been doing that the last couple of days and it's sooo nice. Enjoy the day cuddling and sharing warmth, and celebrating some nice green numbers.

I am completely puzzled. Carrots have carbs. How can something be 0% carbs with carrots in it.
There are large specks of orange all thruout this can.


I decided to try a couple of foods off the new updated list that Dr. Lisa provided. This one is called

Hi Rhiannon, Great numbers for surfmaster Shadow :mrgreen: Go Shadow! Pretty soon it will be time to practice measuring her next reducie. Glad your DD is doing better. Sweet deal on the Petco coupons. Hope there is nothing sketchy about that food, maybe Shadow was just attracted by something different? Cats do like to keep us guessing. Have a great evening!

...very confusing. Carrots are low in carbs, but Tapioca starch sure is a carb ! However, I guess the overall must be very low. I'm sure if it was on Dr. Lisa's list as OK, then it's OK.

Nice numbahs, and good deal on the PetCo coupons! The carrot/tapioca carb issue is confusing...maybe they're in there, but so low in the ingredient list that they really don't register???? As long as Shadow likes it and is tossing you good numbers, I wouldn't question it :lol: !!!

I hadn't thought of that.
Just like trans fat.

I gave her half a can at her +7. Maybe it affected her by 10 ish in bg but she also has that natural inclination to go up and not stay in the 70's.
