10/7 Mar Lei AMPS 319, +2 254, PMPS 524

My sister saw him being sick again. Until these last few days ive only ever had it that he is sick once in a blue moon. And hes 524 PMPS.

It's rather worrying.

When is the earliest we would be switching the dose?

I really don't think it has anything to do with the insulin or a dose. Could it be a food allergy? How are his kidney values? Some cats vomit if there is a large gap between meals due to stomach acid build up.

Thanks for your thoughts.

His diet is the same (well balanced raw food), flavours are the same, and actually I am feeding him more often now since being here. I had wondered if feeding him more often isnt suiting his digestion (but I totally get why its important for BG regulation and especially important when he goes low fast).

Good to know it is likely not related to insulin. Though I do worry that when he's high he could be experiencing organ damage.

It could be that the worming pill I gave him because didnt get the whole dose in, maybe it half killed some parasites which are not kicking off? The vets said I couldnt give him another for a month. I really only like to give them every six months if that, so thats a bit of a mess.

Sorry anyway my dosing question didnt mean to sound like it was connected to the sickness. Its just me freaking out about the super high BG.

I dont test for ketones. He is an outdoor cat and wont pee with me there so I have no way to test. Thats is why I get so worried.
