Unless there's a question about the efficacy of your insulin, I don't think you need to drop back with a new pen or vial. That's one of the nice things about a high-doser... you never have to worry that your insulin has gone bad. My "regular" diabetic Spartacus just FINALLY finished a pen we started in about April. That just boggles my mind. With Grayson it was empty within as little as 3.5 days! Never had time to go bad!
