I'm just so overjoyed with the numbers sweet RocDoc has been showing me lately! There's some red but compared to what we were seeing, it's wonderful! He's a bit bouncy but even that's much better! Anti-jinx - haven't seen black in many days! His eye is looking really good too. This a/b seems to work better than the high-dollar one we've been using. It's still a bit leaky but it's clear, not brownish. All P's are in place altho he and Bebo haven't done their evening runs - Bebo doesn't seem to be feeling too good but it's nearing time for another shot.

Looks like we got fleas whipped too!!! WOOHOO!!!

Got hinges for the latest kennel door - tried to put them on yesterday but discovered that DH forgot to put a square on the post before he attached it. It's WAY off... :roll: Must take it off, loosen wire and level before it's ever going to work. We had to close off the top as Bug learned to use those strong, long legs for climbing right up and over any time she desires... naughty puppy!

I got a set of new trimmers yesterday - PetSmart traded out mine with bad blades for new one! I tried to buy another set but discovered they're ONLY special order from the mfgr and are $50! The whole trimmer set is only $65! When these are dull and can't be sharpened any longer, we'll get another trimmer instead. :smile:

Thoughts and prayers for all needing them today especially hold close Kay Passa AND Lisa/Do Lou as her dad is in hospital with pneumonia - she just lost her mother 2 weeks ago, dad had wreck while making final arrangements. Seems like everything is hitting her at once.

Great that they replaced the clippers, but I kknow on the parts cost. Too many things cost more to fix than replace and they wonder why we are such a throw away society!

About 2 hours ago, DH runs in hollering ' A TOWEL...A TOWEL' in almost a hysterical voice! I grab towel, throw it to him as he says "kitten running trying to get into Taz's yard'! Taz dog (new one just moved in) does NOT like cats so was inside fence trying to get that baby. It was hiding in the tall grass - DH tried to grab it and promptly got scratched as it ran. By that time, I was out there too, baby ran around side where is privacy fence - whew! At least it can't run into Taz' yard! It spotted a bitty hole in our fence and headed in there - I caught it's back end while DH ran inside, grabbed anotehr towel and VOILA! A baby wrapped in towel! It's a black/white tuxedo with white whiskers and a milk moustache, no idea if it's male or female yet but I don't think it's feral, I can already touch and pet. The small crate that Liz/Anne/Zener/Tillie bought for us is back in use! Altho' it's little like a very young kitten, it already has it's gold eye color so it's not as young as it looks, just very tiny. I imagine he/she/it will become a playmate for kitten Monkey when not so fearful.

DANCE WITH US!!! ...and please turn off that sign while you're here....

Glad you traded in that black marker for a beautiful blue one Dakota. Looking pretty good these days. Can we get you to give up the red marker now?

What a beautiful baby! It sure knew where to go for help! Congrats on the new addition!

I'm dancing with you over Dakota's numbers! How lovely he's looking,and hooray on the eye getting better! Good news all around!

How is your DH's knee? It must be better if he came running into the house!
 
I agree with all of you, this baby is SO cute and is now already calm and not shying away from hands and petting. She's still behind the box but that's OK, it's 'safe' for her. She's SO tiny.

Yes, DH's knee is MUCH better. It hurts when he bends it but it's new skin that has to learn to stretch. He's no longer wearing it wrapped, just the bandage over it and walking a bit stiff legged but if he forgets, he CAN bend it. Yep, he bent it lots when we were chasing baby!

The new baby is so cute. Are sure its a she? I would keep an eye out there may be more kittens, hopefully not but who knows. I would guess you are keeping her.

Yep Terri, we've already walked the neighborhood 3 times looking for others but the more 'she/he/it' is here, the more I'm fairly certain she's been handled and petted before. I'm calling it a 'she' right now until I find out different - I want her to be comfortable before I start messing with her tail. If she's one of the 'wild' ones, she's the most tame 'wild' I've ever dealt with. We've now had 3 that were born to wild parents present themselves near the food bowls deciding they didn't want the wild life. It usually takes about 2 weeks to be able to touch them. I can pet her without her flinching away any time I reach in there.

HUGS and DANCES! Bring a sweat towel, it's HOT... :-D
