10/7 Cairo OTJ PMBG 62

Interesting thing happened. I tested Cairo for her weekly BG in the morning and it was 49! Yes, I freaked out and panicked! I immediately fed her, waited 30 minutes and tested again. She tested 60. I tested again in the evening for her PMBG and it was 62. Maybe my meter was wonky? The things that make us go...Hmmmmmm! I wish I would have retested when I got the 49! Oh well. Good thing I test weekly :smile:

No need to panic. A 49 is perfectly safe for a kitty who is not on insulin. Jersey often gave me numbers in the 30s and 40s - until I switched to a new package of test strips, anyway.

So glad Cairo is doing well...except for the fact that she's trying to give you a heart attack! ;-) :mrgreen:
