The power of my LL family's prayers and appy vines seem to have worked! I did wake up a little early and give him a Pepcid, more as preventive as I really wanted to be able to get him back on track with his insulin today.

I wasn't sure how it would go as he did eat earlier this morning and he was curled up in a ball when I woke up to t/f/s. He so far has had about 1/2 his NV chick breakfast. But he typically eats part of it and then comes back to have the other part. I would be a little bit happier if he would decide to eat the rest of his breakfast before I had to leave for work, but we shall see. So far, from what I can tell, he has kept down everything he has had to eat.

I was also surprised to see a 142, as I was totally expecting a number in the yellow zone. We shall see how he does throughout the day....continued vines, good thoughts and prayers much appreciated!

Hi Molly,

Here's wishes for a smooth surf for Mr. Skoots today, that he finishes his breakfast soon and maybe goes into mostly the blues, so that you can feel safer and more certain that all's well.

You two are a great team!!

Appy is still not 100%, but he is eating some......I am gonna put out a little of the baked chicken and see if he will then eat some of his regular food after....not a bad number either.....I am hoping to get him to eat without using Pepcid tonight....

Nice blue surf, Skooter. You and Cinco are really a pair!

I'm glad he's eating again, Molly. I'm sure it was just a passing bug or something. It's a good sign that, even without insulin, he stayed in good numbers. Maybe Mr. P is starting to wake up! (anti-jinx)

Keep eating, Skooter. Mama is so much happier when you do! :-D

Sending prayers for Skooter to continue to eat. I hope he's over whatever was bothering him yesterday.

Well, not totally loving that number, BUT with meter variance it would be blue and with him being off yesterday and not getting his insulin, this number isn't so surprising. I think he can bounce back from this pretty easily, I hope.


The better news is he ate his dinner!!!! AND he showed interest!!!! I didn't have to coax him with chicken breast or a different kind of food....he ate his Nature's Variety Chicken!!!! AND no Pepcid!!!!!

Now to make sure he keeps it down and eats later on.....he came downstairs when he was done, did his routine of jumping on the couch, walking the outside of it, before settling in my lap.

I just want to say a great big HUGE ginormous thank you to everyone for your support, vines, prayers and everything else everyone has done over the past 24 hours....I am cautiously optimistic that he is over whatever he had....

I am so glad SkooterPie's appy is better this evening...what a relief. But whoa on that drop. Surf safely, little one, and keep eating!!

no big deal here...nope, none at all....


No cliff diving either for Skooter tonight, nope, no cliff diving at all....no 132 drop in two hours for him......

My boy likes to do extremes, doesn't he?!??!

If he isn't keeping me on my toes with not eating, its this....

Skooter and China obviously have plans of their own, so I think we should go out :lol:

Taking bets on how bad of a bounce he will have thanks to that over so slight dive tonight..... :roll: :lol:

Really, Skooter? Did you not get your beans attention with your lack of appetite yesterday? Do you really need to shake her up today, too, by going cliff diving? Just make sure it isn't bungee jumping - no rebound!!!!

I'm so glad he's eating normally again, Molly. Looks like he's gonna surf so you can get some sleep .
