Ripley is doing great today.
Today is a mirror-image of yesterday: similar numbers (so far), she and I had a dreamy btb time (and slept in, then woke to the smell of coffee and bacon), and she's now basking out in the backyard with the turtle and chickens. Happy kitteh. Happy bean.

Tonight = drop increase, from F0.75u to 1.0u.
This will hopefully end the Syringe Switcheroo Saga and bring her back up to the ex-syringe dose (Relion).
Wow, that sounded confusing.
She was at 0.5u with the Relions, but since the Relions have about 0.5u just in the cone alone, it was really about 1.0u of insulin that I was giving her; since switching to Terumos (sans cone, so the dose is the true amount of insulin) she's been climbing up the dose ladder, but in fact I'm bringing her back up to the amount she was getting pre-switcheroo.
It all makes sense in my head ~ sorry if it doesn't 'on paper.' :roll: :lol: :? :shock: :-| <--- That's me needing coffee... Elsa!!!!

I always hear "i'm in the mood for shrimp, simply because i'm Ripley" when i see your condo. :-D :-D
whew, I'm betting Ripley is glad she just has to stand still for the shot and not have to make all those syringe adjustments.

She surfed the low blues today, and got a drop increase this evening.
I thought for sure her pmps was going to be higher, based on the 121 @ +8... The 130 is a pleasant surprise.

Hi Josie. Nice start of the night for Ripley. Good luck with the dose increase that really isn't an increase in insulin just the number. See it makes sense :) .

It all makes sense to me...since I did the same thing.
It frustrated me so much trying to get back to where I was. hated losing any ground.

Hi Josie,

I so understand about the syringes. I used my last Terumo tonight, and have to use my old Relions till my order gets in. So I was experimenting tonight with colored water, and my old, used Terumo vs. the Relion. I have little more confidence about drawing up tomorrow's insulin. :?
