Morning ~O) ~O) and looking forward to Mannie's Saturday coffee treat! All seems to be well in Maggie Land today. I added a dropcrease, making it 8 drops. I hesitated as I know her numbers go up and down depending on her Megacolon disease and whether she has a poo. Even on good days she doesn't dip that low, except for one time which was very unusual! I had a tough time counting 8 drops and then remembering where the line fell! :?

Mags was really focused on staring out the patio glass earlier. I looked out with her and saw something all black across the small yard staring back at her. It had some white on its face, and I couldn't make out whether it was a cat or skunk with the darkness. The back of the critter seened to hunch up, so maybe it was a cat? There was no hissing from Maggie as it was far enough away that it wasn't in her territory. Maggie has a good appy, and I may get out the Special Diet Friskies T&G and see if she'll have some from a freshly opened can. I don't expect any poo today, as she had prezzies two days in a row Wednesday and Thursday, which is a milestone with her colon issues. :-D Weather is to be in the 70's today, so glad to be gone with the hot, hot temps! I have housework sitting here looking at me. I have really let things go (except for laundry). Have a great day everyone. Sending healing vines to Tarragon, Rocket and all kitties needing them.

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) and from Mannie, who has ordered an espresso machine so he can now service his morning ~O) customers. what a guy....

Good luck with Maggie's new dose. I hope she likes it and it brings those numbers down some for you. Mannie got a new one last night too - just way to many yellows and pinks... so more juice for him too. GO KITTIES!

Good job Maggie on the critter patrol! I wonder what it was that she, and you, saw. hmmmmm...

WOW - and nice on the cooler temps! What a relief that must be! Enjoy, and maybe walk later then? have fun the the housework stuff. I need to do that too.

Good Morning Ann and Maggie! Good to hear that you'll have a nice day. We have one brewing nicely too, so out I will go later. Leo is whacking his tail looking out the back door too, and just had a face-off with an orange cat who actually walked up half the back steps. Adventure! Good luck on the dose increase. 8 drops - wow. I'm going to go dig out my calipers later and see about measuring that way.

Michelle ... can you get Mannie to add me to his list of customers? I give good tips!

Have a great day - Lisa & Leo

Sounds like Maggie is on a roll! What a protector kitty!

By the way, skunks will hunch their backs, too. ;-)

It looks like the added drop is taking effect into a nice blue. I'll be happy if she surfs these size blues all day!

Hi Michelle, and thank you Mannie for that Espresso machine! That is so nice of you! Neat both Mags and Mannie had their doses fattened. Yes, nice on the weather, and I will get that walk in early and probably won't do much housework either. I should just pay someone to do a good cleaning, and then I would promise myself to keep up with it!

Morning Pat & Raja & Shadow, have a nice day, too, and thanks for stopping by for a visit. Maggie wants to come over and visit Raja some day soon.

Hi Lisa & Leo, how funny with the orange kitty and Leo! I think this may have been a skunk this morning in the yard, as normally Maggie would start having fits if it were another cat in her area.

Morning Teresa & Poopy, I think you're right! With the way it hunched its back, it may have been a skunk. It blended into the shrubbery so well it was hard to tell.

Morning Ann........ooh, nice descent for Miss Maggie. These are my kinda numbers..low and safe, so you can go out and have fun...or shop  ,if you want.
It must be a relief to finally get out of that horrible heat wave. Seventies is so nice

Would Maggie have tangled with the critter in the yard? I'm afraid when something gets in my screenporch. I don't know if a chipmunk or mouse/mole/vole, can carry rabies. or something even nastier.
Do you even have rabies in Cal? It's a problem in NY state.

Have a good day, Ann. :-D

Up we go for the PMPS!

Hi Barb, yes, we do have rabies in CA! Maggie is inside the apartment, but I have the glass opened, so she's looking out the screen. A couple times I did worry the raccoon might get too close and claw the screen, especially they can smell the fuds. My patio is kind of strange, it's a square piece of cement with no gate or enclosure. The patio just steps onto the grassy part and then there's a fence dividing our apartments from some homes.
Thanks, it is great having some relief from the heat.

Aha, so Mr Skunk has left our yard and come to court Ms Maggie!

I see she and Zener are starting out at about the same mellow yellows at PMPS.

Kind of a flat day. I have a feeling Maggie may have lower numbers tomorrow. I gave Maggie fluids, and she's been a sleepy girll all afternoon. This may mean lots of chatter tonight with so much sleep this afternoon.

Hi Melissa, the break in the heat was nice! I didn't get much housework done. I took a long nap and got hooked on watching "Criminal Minds" or Criminal Intent", can't remember the exact name, but a detective series! I did get caught up on some paperwork.

Thanks Carla, let's hope she's just settling into the dose and some nicer numbers to follow. I think the meds keep her numbers up a little.

Anne & Zener   on the skunks pic, so cute. I think it was Zener's skunk here this morning, the way it hunched its back. It was far enough away that Mags didn't hiss! Yes, what is it with the mellow yellow AMPS for these two?

Nice, easy day for Maggie today.

Ooohh...Pepe LePew and Babette...one of my all time favorite childhood cartoons!!
