So, it's actually been over a week since we dropped Grady's insulin dosage down to .25u and he's been holding pretty steady. Any "spikes" have only been around the 110 range. Should I drop the dosage one final time to .1u (so hard to gauge on the syringe) and see how it goes for another week?

Grady is looking great!   It think it's a good plan to try that .1 dosage. I hope you have a magnifying glass - I find the bottom line on the BD syringes isn't very consistent.

If you want to try to get rid of some of the blue preshot numbers, a trick you can do for a cat this close to OTJ is to feed a small meal at +8 to +9 each cycle. The hope is that will cause the pancreas to kick in and bring down the numbers for PS.

Good luck!

I think I can manage that. I'll give it a shot (hah!) tonight. He pretty much already gets small snacks a couple of times per day, depending on who's home at what time. The only times he doesn't do that is the + 10 and +11 marks and in the wee hours of the morning between 2 and 6 am. I am not happy that our local suppliers have changed out all the Merrick foods for the new stuff. Nobody carries Tiki around here (the 12 pack I wanted to get online isn't available), so I'm scrambling to find good food he'll still eat.
