Checkers had a wonderful day yesterday, with Gabby, the 9yo. I was dumbfounded, when he followed her around, and even came when she made kissy noises. When she sat at the table, he went up and rubbed all over her head. I would not have believed that, if I hadn't seen it for myself. Checkers rarely comes out for the kids.
He kept asking her to turn faucet on for him, and stood sweet as pie, while she 'helped' me test him.
She is so gentle with his back.

He is eating well today, and is more active than usual in morning.
It's library day....I hope he doesn't decide to visit the lagoon today.

Barb, that is the sweetest pic of Checkers with Gabby, and you caught it at the perfect moment! She has a gentle sweet heart, and Checkers feels it! Enjoy Library day! Is that your time with the little ones? Checkers, how about a nice safe surf for your MomBean today!

Thanks Ann and Devon. It' actually a still, that I got from a video clip. :-D

I found something else to smear on his fuds. Got some baby food for Tux' Miralax, and found that BeechNut makes bf ham.
No sugar of course. Chex is crazy about ham lunch meat, so gave it a try with baby food. He loved it! :-D
We'll see if it affects his bg, even without sugars.
