Good afternoon Pat & Peter :) I have had a nasty migraine 3 days in a row, so haven't been able to check in as often. I am getting data on her though .. as best as I can anyway. Very steady yellow there, sometimes that's the calm before the storm. Hope you migraine eases up soon.

Hi Libby, I hope your migraine gets better, no fun! Callie looks good in yellow, but I agree, blue would be better! I agree with Ann, sometimes those flat yellows mean more action coming soon....

Hi Ann and Laurie .. now what kind of action are we talking about? Do I need more tests today? Ok freaking .. deep berath .. will check back for update. I was happy to see a pretty level after her ups and downs. Still can't figure any good pattern here, but figured it was because I have only had a short (less than a week) to get a set of curves. But the curves seem more like MMMMM up down up down ...LOL Oh well ... as you've said ... patieence! Libby and Callie (and civvies: brother Buddy and sister Missy)

Breathe Libby! ;-) It's ok, you don't need to freak out....just be aware that when you see a cycle where the numbers stay in the yellows, pretty flat, like they are today, you sometimes see a nice drop afterwards. Take a look at other people's SS, you will notice the pattern if you look for it. It's not something to worry about, it's a good thing!

Whew! I took an immediate reading and she is at 148 .. got a little unsettled, but if it's a good thing .. that's great. The drop is in the middle 100s so I am not freaking anymore ..lol I fed her a snack and I'll do a test at +9.5 and +10.5 to see what's going on. She has now started to hide.. poor baby .. but she is still very good once testing. Thanks for letting me know this normal (BG) ... Libby and Callie (and civvies: brother Buddy and sister Missy)

Hey Anne & Muffin .. yep .. blue kitty :) I did a check Mr. Tinkles and noticed the 10/2 and the yellow all day .. then blue .. then green! I have so much to learn! I am happy to see the 100s, but have yet to hit the all elusive green (bg) and chickened out at her 101 ..lol I'll have to learn to go with the flow. I am ready with the supplies and can be on top of things at least when she does start "going green". I see Muffin is a big green fan and blue too I hope you both are having a great day! Libby, I'm glad you mentioned the 101 and chickening out...I meant to post about that but didn't get back that day....it's perfectly ok to give a little MC or HC when you see a lowish number before nadir, and you are either leaving the house or going to sleep. Safety always comes first, and if you are going to worry, then give the food! Even though she probably was not going to go too low that time, it's nothing to stress about, it didn't do her any harm. Besides, it was only a tsp. You should have seen what I did the first time I saw a low number....shoveled the HC food into Tinkles, he went through the roof! :lol: :razz:

LOL .. I really did think about that, but had looked at the SSs around the board and saw that it was effective as tiny snacks. I didn't think it would go too low, but was over tired and off my game anyway (BG) I wanted the first green to be when I was at least capable of dealing with it effectively! It has only been since the 1st since I have gotten any lower numbers so I am still at the bottom of the learning curve I think. I am off to do dishes and then another test. I see Mr. Tinkles has been doing great! I am keeping a special eye on his SS as well as Muffins and Raja. I think these will tell me a lot about the blue/ green times :) Thanks guys .. off to do housework :( Libby and Callie (and civies: brother Buddy and sister Missy)

Beautiful numbers today!! Please get a +1 and a +2. This is the lowest you've shot so getting early tests is a way to know where the cycle is going.

Hi Libby :) I have done and have posted the +1 and she is going up. No worries .. got her shot and was fed earlier. I'll probably see another drop around the +4 so I'll monitor at +3 Thanks for checking on her. She is fine except now she is hiding from the tests :( Soon I hope she steadies out and we can have fewer tests. Ever hopeful .. Libby and Callie (and civies: brother Buddy and sister Missy)
