Good morning,

seems the new dose is working somehow. Last night we saw a longer stretch of blue, today she seems to be bouncing but with the more friendly yellow than only pink and red.

Again - appetite not great at shot time but I leave the food out and she does serve herself, so I am relieved. Diarrhea is gone, yesterday I even feared she is constipated but today she pooped in a nice consistency. Never thought I would write things like that on a Sunday morning on the internet. :rolleyes:

@SmallestSparrow: 13 C/55F here today. So even though we grow wine here, Weinheim is not California. :)

Well Binie had a beautiful blue stretch last night! Hooray for blue :cool:
And a bounce to yellow is certainly an improvement, so that’s good news too :)
Glad to hear that at least she’s eating on her own for you so that’s great:cat:
I’m glad to hear her poops are improved as well. Yes it’s amazing all the things we discussed here isn’t it?;)

You are having cooler weather than us. We are supposed to get up to 75 F today.
I hope maybe you can get out with a jacket and get some fresh air.

They said as I aged I’d talk about poop consistency more…of course I’d assumed they meant MINE

My spirits rise and fall with ketone numbers and poop consistency. My pantry is full of things to stop poop and my refrigerator full of things to start poop. :)

Hi Colleen,

oh my, I can so much relate to what you say. If Binies bg is good, ketones are low and she pooped in a good consistency, I feel great. And also other way round... We just love them and seems it's normal to care. And if caring means poop-talk, let's go for it. :)

And you should see my pantry and fridge... :rolleyes:

Hope you have a relaxed sunday with the boys. How are they? Methos had a wonderful blue day yesterday, but I am sure it was stressful to make the decision to shoot or not to shoot....

Two hours of sleep yesterday. I think he feels best between 130 and 200. He doesn’t like the low blues anymore than I do. Mid blues and he’s more active and seems to enjoy things more. Last night we were sitting on my back patio just after sunset when two does came in the yard to get a drink from water pans I put out for them. Methos stared at them then looked up at me like “whoa those are big dogs mom!”

it looks like Binie also had a string of blue— I wish more for her in the days to come

Thanks for the update Colleen! Happy Methos feels good in blue already. I remember Wendy said it can take time they get used it again.

So cute, Methos and you have been dog-watching together! And so kind of you to keep out water for the dogs in this heat!

Unfortunately no blue numbers for Binie today. We'll see what the night brings!

Deer. Deer come in the yard. Methos usually misses them although he’s seen the fawns because they visited mid day—he’s usually sleeping after dusk but when his glucose is more normal he’s more active and wanting to sit outside.
