Happy Caturday!

WCR: All Ps in place. Appy is ok this morning. However, I am typing with one finger as the other hand is holding her bowl for her. :roll: :lol: Got snuggles last night, but not feeling much love right now as she's got her backside turned to me. :-| humph!

I will be gone all day (until PMPS) because I have several boys participating in Men's Chorus Day 2013. Any boy in my county (grade 7-12) is invited to participate. We call in a guest clinician; they learn a few songs throughout the day; act like boys and men; and at the end of the day, they put on a little mini concert. Tons of fun. Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Hi Carla, Pam & Liz ~ Sorry I didn't get back on the board today/tonight until now. As soon as I got home from Men's Chorus Day, I started mending more dresses (concert in less than a week and a half! :shock: ) I've got 5 more dresses until I'm finished with all of those. Shasta was not happy when she saw me pull out the needle and thread. :roll: Lots of pouting...from both of us! Otherwise, he numbers are barely creeping down tonight...reaction from last nights steady stream of blues?! Who knows.

The next 2 weeks are going to be hell on me...so I apologize up front for my lack of communication. I have a concert next weekend with my performance group in Orlando...and I haven't looked at one piece of music (it's been that crazy busy this semester.) My students' concert is the 15th; my evaluation "dissertation" is due the 18th; student auditions need to be recorded the 7th and sent off by midnight; we start our big fundraiser of selling cheesecakes/cookie dough, etc. on Wednesday...along with all the other stuff that comes along with teaching. Oh yeah, and sometime this week, I've been told to be prepared for financial paperwork out the wazoo as my brother and I are co-applying for a home loan for our parents who just closed on their house and now have 3 weeks to find a place and put down a deposit, etc. nailbite_smile nailbite_smile @-) @-) :shock: :shock: ohmygod_smile

I need a drink...but I need sleep more. On that note, I'm off to shower and bed. Oh, and the Men's Chorus Day was lots of fun. About 140 guys got together and learned 3 pieces for a short performance. My little 9th grader who I put in my intermediate men's chorus finally understood why I'm constantly telling him to focus and stop goofing around and pay attention and sit still...he realized it about the time the middle schoolers got there!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
