Help me!look my liza's spreadsheet on pmps is 487 and now at +4 157!!!I am very anxious now and i dont know what to do she iate before one hour the numbers come down!

Hey, good that you got a test to catch that!

Are you able to stick around and monitor Liza? Do you have a hypo kit with medium and high carb foods?

Also, note that the 911 forum prefix should be used only if your cat is having symptoms or very low numbers, such as <30. Is Liza exhibiting any symptoms? Or are you worried that she will drop lower later on?

Hi I didn't think it was that low, I guess she got nervous, thanks for posting

yes i have a food low carb amd medium carb!liza looks great!but i scary with this big fall

Keep testing her (maybe 30 minutes after the last test like Diane mentioned) and post your results. It is great that you are prepared with some medium carb food. It is also good to get some high carb stuff as well (for future use).
You will make it through this! :bighug:

Before 30minutes she is on 127!.one after one tablespoon of food she is on 129!what can i do know;i go to sleep;giving her food;and the morning what to do ;thank you

Are you able to stay up another hour to test her? Or could you set an alarm to wake up and test her?

She's flattening out now, and getting close to peak of the insulin if she hasn't hit it already. MC isn't really necessary, nor testing every 30 minutes. She is doing just fine, as are you. I'd still test at +6 or set alarm for +7 to make sure she's still flat, or rising.
Thank you @Christie & Maverick even though I have been here awhile I am not that
great at giving advice of what to feed and when, thank you for catching this :cat:

I didn't know what to do so i give her mc food so i measured her at 30minutes? (+6) this is really exhausted thank you all for your help

You did just fine :), I'm glad you were here to help, Diane. I tend to try and watch for when the cycles flatten out, then feed LC to try and encourage the kitty to stay in the range. For sure, if there were sharp drops early in the cycle to 70-80s, maybe a little MC to bump them up is warranted. Depends too on how carb sensitive the kitty is.

Thanks for explaining this , I'll definitely remember this. Tyler really has never dropped low so I guess that's why I'm not that great at giving advice. I am going to bookmark this page. Thanks again.:bighug::bighug:

Looks like she is coming back up with that +6, tomorrow if you can can add in the remarks what % carb you fed and when, that will help you next time she drops a little, you can review your notes to see what worked. I think I saw on your SS the MC is around 10%? Since she's at +6 now and rising, I'd give her another tsp of your LC, and since she's in the rise, I think it's ok to get some sleep now.

:bighug: Good work. I know how stressful that is, she dropped a lot!! Even though the blue numbers are good it is still a shock when you get there so fast from the 400s. Hope you got some sleep.

Hello!
I had a difficult night yesterday! How does my am values of today look? I will go to the vet at +3 to get her shaved and ask for an antibiotic for her ear. Also, my work schedule is as follows:. Tuesday (today)14.00-19.00 what should I pay attention to?
Is it enough if I tell my mom to feed every hour until +6?

Hi Dionysia...Sorry you didn't get a response when you needed it...the time zones can make things difficult. At the time of your last post it was 2am for me over on the west coast USA - it can be difficult to find help at night. For next time, if you're looking for help at that time of day/night try tagging @Bandit's Mom who is in Mumbai or @Bron and Sheba (GA) who I think is somewhere in Australia. Anyone else is in Europe?

Also, since it was the start of a new day we are asked to start a new post each day. So your last post should have been a new post for today with a new title something like "? 11/5 Lisa AMPS 475 +2 375 +3 293 +4 233 - going out, what to do?"

The "?" should catch attention that you have a question - you can put whatever you like as the question at the end to get attention and then your post itself was perfect.

I'm no expert but it looks to me like she is responding nicely to insulin, just a matter of finding the right dose.

Sorry I missed your post. I will be around for your AM cycle when people in the US may be asleep. Folks in the US should be around for your PM cycle.

It will be easier for us to keep track if you start a new thread for each day and limit your threads to only one per day :)

You can tag me and Elise (@tiffmaxee) and @Christie & Maverick

I got very tired last night! And I thought if I could move the hour I shoot a bit earlier, so that I don't stay awake so late. This means that if I work until late, my mom will have to shoot without a prior measurement. As it is now, I shoot at 10, I shoot every night myself, and when I work early then I will test at +10 and my mom will shoot a couple of hours later. What do you think of the two alternatives?
Also, I went to the vet today, and he said her ear looks bad, but he didn't know of any other medicine to treat it, so he prescribed 5 drops of surolan twice a day for 15days. What do you think? I have posted a pic of her ear in my previous post!
I also give her pronefra renal supplement daily Ιs anybody else giving it too?
Also what is the bg value at which I need to retest and what is the one that I can sleep and not retest?
