Condo to come.

WCR- 3Ps in place. No playing and very little preening. Only upside to that is Mommy gets in more cuddle brushing time.

AM yellow is due to not getting to test before the +18 hour mark even though that test was at 5am. Have recruited neighbor to help read test results and syringe markings. Very lucky to have such wonderful people so close. Husband is diabetic and knows this drill well - wife used to baby sit me when I was a little kid.

Sending healing vines to all who need them today.

I've been thinking about your post from yesterday. First, given that Fitz has been spending time in lower numbers, the fact that his coat isn't what it should be and his appetite is "off" has me concerned. I know that vet visits are an ordeal but you may need to start thinking about getting your cat in to see the vet. Even if you need to use a mild sedative to get Fitz to be cooperative, it may make sense to have him evaluated. Is there any chance there's a vet who can come to the house?

With "as needed" dosing, the goal is to catch a rise in numbers as soon as it occurs so you're not having Fitz get into higher ranges. This may require a bit more testing. Is that possible?

Morning Shai ! Family is/are people you hold dear to your heart. It has little to do with blood!
Tuckers coat is becomming thick and smooth, probably due to the canned food and higher fat content than dry he used to eat. I probably should add "in my opinion".... :lol:
I use FF and Special Kitty...... you know, the cheaper stuff !
Glad to hear your neighbors will help with the Pirate ! Good Karma to them !

@Chris - I love that family is something we are always gathering about us from friends who love us without a blood bond. Kinda means they must really like us or they'd leave. ;-) Glad to hear about Tucker's soft lush coat. And hey, I think a Beans opinion means a lot even to our furrs, especially when we're admiring them. :lol:

@Sienne- yes - I feel a vet visit is in Fitzels future. I have to find a new vet as the one who dx Fitzel is against home testing and probably wouldn't see her anyway once he found out I stopped giving her 1u 2x day. That was his dosage and he told me to stop testing and just give her that amount morning and night until I needed another vial of insulin. :shock: Can you imagine what would have happened to my baby if I had done that?! This kitty crashes off a few drops. There is a vet I want to try but she's been on vacation and won't be back until next Tuesday. Thank you for checking in on us and sharing your thoughts.
