Yesterday's Condo
So had a decent day today, didnt expect miracles but pretty good. Luckily everyday is like a curve with us with all the testing the DH does so hopefully we can figure out when his nadir will be. Tuesday and Thursday are harder because the DH has to take our son to college (he doesnt drive yet) and is gone from +3-+6 till I get home close to +7. But with Levemir I am hoping he does have a later nadir so I dont have to worry as much.
Doogle is a happy kitty. Nice clean ears but I think has an allergy to the litter we have been using. So I am giving him Zyrtec for the moment and will pick up new litter this week. I also got some Lysine powder to start putting in his food to help boost his immune system especially with fall and winter coming. Plus we have started letting the 2 outdoor kitties in and out and they tend to bring in colds, so hopefully this will help.
The herd is good (now 18). The three kittens are now just over a year and the girl, Abby, is such a sweetheart!!! She has this look about her that just make you weak at the cuteness. She will stand at the bedroom door while Doogle is eatting his FF and just look at you with these sad eyes and tiny meow that you cant resist. So we let her in and with her crooked tail, she runs into the room and goes right after Doogle's food. He looks at us like, Really???? Did you have to let her in??? So we feed her a little just to make her happy (plus the boys tend to push her away sometimes when they eat). I know she has us wrapped around her little paw.
Probably wont post again till tomorrow night since bed is calling soon. The DH will not post here or anywhere (he hates the internet) so I will update the old post and do a new one with all the days numbers.
Thank you so much for all your suggestions and encouragement! Although I havent posted alot in a while, its nice to know you can always come home. ;-)
