10/5 Chewie AMPS 221/ +3 221/ PMPS 419

Yesterday

Well, the proverbial rubber hit the road, we moved out today.
Chewie started great at 221, but then I had to lock the cats in an empty room with their beds and litter and water and The Big Stress began. At +3 she was still at 221, tonight at the hotel PMPS was 419… not surprising.

I’m going to keep her at 8 units for now, really hope she will be good about eating in the car during the day. I will try to give her a snack every two hours or so when we stop to change drivers. Wish us luck! I’m so mad, she totally would have had blues had this not be the fateful day…

PS: after lots of very nervous exploring and lying on the floor like a listless stuffed animal, she rallied a bit and ate her entire dinner.
