Stinkus pinkus this morning for Blackie. This morning's shot was cycle 5 on this dose. I think he needs at least a drop more. We'll see what today brings - sometimes he will go down after a few days of being high.

Blackie is feeling good. He was a hungry boy this morning and very loving. All P's were in place, including an especially magical poop. He's been getting a pinch of Miralax to counteract the constipating effects of his phos binder and I think I have the pinch just the right size.

Good to hear Blackie is doing well and on the using miralax is it just a pinch a day for a cat?? I have never used it but DL has been having some poo issues so I might want to look into that I have it here for me anyway :lol: hope Blackies numbers improve soon for you

Lisa, (sorry to hijack Ele) I've been told 1/8 tsp. once a day up to 1/4 tsp twice a day. I give Tess 1/8 tsp once a day, because she sometimes tends to skip a day. Actually, it's a rounded gelato spoon, that fits inside the Miralax jar. What we won't do for out kitties, having to go out and eat gelato just to get spoons to measure their doses. :roll:

I have a tiny scoop that came in a supplement powder that is 1/8 tsp. I put just under half of that in his food whenever I add the phos binder, so he's getting it about 4 to 5 times a day. So Blackie is getting about 1/4 tsp each day. I don't know if I'm doing it right putting it in his food throughout the day, but it seems to be working. I started with a smaller amount and then increased until I saw the magical poop.
