Good Morning, Everyone,

Our hearts go out to Emily, who lost her dear Tableau over the weekend. Fly free, sweet guy!
We continue to send healing thoughts and vines to all kitties and beans who are in need of them. Feel better!

Rusty is starting the day almost green! He woke us up with kitty kisses and snuggles. He had a good shot (I think) and enjoyed his breakfast (in 3 sittings today: a hungry guy). Now he is chillaxin' on his pillow. It's a drizzly, foggy morning and probably won't improve much weather-wise today. But a cold front tonight is supposed to bring cold and sunny weather for the rest of the week. That will be great. Today is a day of chores and running around. Edward is at yoga. This afternoon we must go to the landfill. Rusty needs food, and it's time to put out the bird feeders, so I'll have to pick up some black oil sunflower seed for our chickadees and the other winter birds. The cedar trees have a huge crop of cones this year, and that may mean that we will see lots of Pine Siskins this winter. Looking forward to that. If the rain stops, I'll be able to go for a walk. Tomorrow is a bike ride through the apple country near Lake Champlain (and a stop at the PetSmart in Plattsburgh on the way home).

Hi Ella, nice AMPS this morning for Rusty. I hope the weather breaks there, and you can take a walk. We are expecting rain tomorrow. I wonder, too, if the Friskies T & G may be raising Maggie's bg just a little, as it is five carbs. It must have something to do with the giblets. Maggie definitely likes the FF T & G better than the Friskies. I bought about eight cans to give it more time with her. Have a nice day and hope you get all the chores done.

Beautiful AMPS for Rusty today! Yay! Great to hear that he is feeling good and that you got some snuggles for being such a good bean. :lol: A drizzly day sounds like a good day for a nap. Hope you get all of your running around done and can relax.

we're cold and drizzly here too - and could use a trip to the landfill, but it won't be today! glad you mentioned the bird seed - i need to refill my feeders. the black oil one is completely empty - i think the nuthatches are obsessed with burying those seeds into the bark of the oaks around us.

Hi again,
Rusty is going the wrong way! We spent over an hour in the garden this morning. Rusty was hunting the chipmunk. I've never seen him move so fast. And he was all over the stone walls. Finally I had to carry him inside! I'm sure the adrenalin was pumping through him. Does that have an effect on BG? If so, it might account for the 153 at +5. I'm sure I didn't give a fur shot this morning.

We are heading out to the landfill, so Mr. Russ will have some nice time to relax. I'll test him again when we return.

I hope the quiet time will bring the BGs down. I think it depends on the cat, sometimes up and sometimes down. Back to those better numbers big guy!
 
SIGH.... by the time I get to your condo you are already in bed.... what a nice start for Rusty today. He looks good, even if they aren't green. very flat too. I so don't understand Lev, or the numbers... beyond me. But it sounds like Rusty is well, and happy and enjoying being a cat. All good I think.

nice on the bird feeders. I so need to do the same... they are all hung, but empty. bad bird bean!

I'm late too. Glad to see his low AMPS this morning....maybe it was his nadir....it's totally possible on the lev...and then he comes up...gosh I wish I could be of some help on that but too new to lev.

Sounds like you all had a lovely day. Hoping tomorrow will be as well.
