Many prayers and healing vines for Tarragon this morning. He is in the ER. We are thinking good thoughts.

Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty has a good AMPS number this morning. We had a good test, breakfast (combo plate of BG turkey and Wellness chicken), good shot (with the exception of a small drop left in the syringe), and now a nap in his little bed by the radiator (which is not on this morning, since it has gotten much milder). He played so well yesterday and I want to encourage him to keep playing, so we shall do that later this morning.

Our weather has gotten warmer, but the rain/drizzle/fog is still with us. Tomorrow the weatherman promises some sunshine and we will take advantage by paddling on Henderson Lake in the High Peaks. Getting there is a long haul, but worth it (it's not far from here, but you can't get there from here!). It is a gem. I hope we'll have reasonably good weather.

I just love those blue amps :-D Here's to Rusty surfing nicely today, so you can have fun in the water, before the snow arrives. :-D

It's supposed to be in the 70's here, but it's gloomy now, so I'm doubting it'll get that high. Oh well, Im happy when it's not snowing. :roll:

Hi Ella.....I was here a while ago, and disappointed that there was no anecdote to go with Rusty's pmps.
now I see why.

They say that 5 times is a charm, so here goes:

Rusty tired of Merrick's BG turkey. Just like the last time we tried it: he liked it at first and then dismissed it. Today he left that part of his breakfast in the bowl. At lunch he vomited a little (to make a point?) (when I substituted FF T&G he ate enthusiastically! and didn't vomit!). The T&G probably accounts for the 139 at +9 (it tends to raise his bgs). Tonight for dinner Wellness Turkey was served and approved.
Next week I may select a new food to try alongside the Wellness. I'll take Dr. Lisa's list to Potsdam when I go to the Agway there on Tuesday.

We had torrential rains this afternoon, but then sunshine!!! We are all packed up and ready to leave early tomorrow morning on our paddle. It is a 2-hour drive. I hope the weather cooperates.

Ella, Nice steady numbers for Rusty today. Its, er, thoughtful of him to make clear which food he prefers :roll: . Hope you have great weather for your paddle tomorrow, we had an unseasonable pleasant warm sunny day here today so sending it your way. Have a great evening!

Had to stop in and see how sweet Rusty and Mama/PapaBean are and send hugs before my eyes can't stay open any longer...
 
Hi Ella - sorry for the late post - another DGS day where time got away from me. I hope your day has been a good one.

Wonderful numbers for Rusty - it si so good to see him there again.

I know on the Merrick BG line - that is what Mannie did too, eventually refusing to eat it. never could serve it more than one every other week after that. Now the wellness he will eat no problem... Good luck with your fuds quest - I will be anxious to wee what you end up with. Good luck.

Enjoy your paddle tomorrow. It is so great that your weather broke and you will be able to go. Any chance of seeing those loons?
