The vet only prescribed steroid for 3 days, so called and told her the numbers and reaction. Will see where we go from here. Thank you for the love, we truly appreciate it.

What's the name of the steroid? I know they have somewhat different effects on BG.

Maybe her numbers are lower because she's feeling better!

Depending on the steroid and the dose, it might not make her numbers go up - or maybe they would be even lower than they are without it.

Either way, I'm so glad to hear she's feeling better!

She's on prednisolone7.5 mg 1x day for 3 days, and now every other day for 2 more doses.
