10/4 Obie amps 449 on relion after a beautiful yesterday

Obie had a good day a few days a go and then shot up past 400 for a day.
Had another beautiful day yesterday and shot up to 449 on the relion.
I know bouncing is sort of normal but this is kooky.
Yesterday he was at 209 pmps on relion +2 after he was 351 ,a 140 bounce in 2 hours.
I still can't help wondering if he is getting too much still at 1.25.

Nothing like a drop of 140 in two hours to cause a bounce.....

I can't remember how long Obie has been on insulin, but if I recall, it hasn't been too terribly long.....his body is just getting used to everything and all the changes with insulin...

If you look at Skooter's spreadsheet from when we first started.....he was all over the place and loved those super high numbers....

Obie, my friend....start that nice, slow, non-bounce inducing slide down, would ya?

My read is that the bounce is a delayed action from the greens during the PM cycle on 10/2. A change of 140 isn't all that unusual. Gabby, early on, had an AMPS in the 400s, dropped to the 40s at nadir, and was back to the 400s by PMPS. If you look at other kitty's spreadsheets, you'll get a better idea of the variability in how kitties bounce.

Obie has been on insulin for about 90 days now.
He seems to be bouncing a ton lately.
I may drop him down to 1u from 1.25 for a week and see if that stops the going too low. I just checked him at +6 at 343 RELION.
I do wonder if maybe he dropped low before the 71 reading on the 2nd or between his morning shot and +6 on the 3rd.
These bounces are happening a ton lately.
He also just threw up his lunch.
