Yesterday was what seems to be the new normal for Neko. Blue start, bounce to yellow, then surf the blues at night. :-D

10/3 Recap:
AMPS 108 +3.5 285 +9 201
PMPS 163 +3 169 +7.5 135

I've been giving some though to adding a drop to see if I can make Neko's SS slightly more green. But I wouldn't want to do that until I know when her night time nadir might be. I think I'm narrowing down her night nadir to around +9-+10, which works for the next 3 weeks as that's about when we get up for rowing. After that, on water rowing ceases - too cold/dark, dangerous. Rowing on the ocean does have it's downsides. There was fresh snow on the top of the mountain at the end of the inlet today.

The day started out sunny although it's definitely fall temperatures. Cats are in the solarium catching the rays. Neko has had a couple of saunters onto the deck for some sniffs.

Late start for the condo today - shuttling DH's car in for repairs, then rowing. I'm probably heading for more painting soon.

It looks like Neko's headed for a repeat of yesterday. Hopefully she will come back down to blue. I hope your DH's car repairs go smoothly.

Hi Wendy! Row safely, brrr. I wanted to ask - where do you get the necks and gizzards and things that you say are "nature's toothbrush"? Sorry if that's a dumb question but I've been vegetarian/vegan for years and I really don't know if you just go to the meat section in Superstore and ask for gizzards or what  as the only meat I buy is cans of Friskies! Do the cats just gnaw on a big chunk of this stuff?

Not too bad for an inverted curve, at least no stinky pinkys. Thanks for the mouse-catching tips. I put some nice shredded tissue in the traps and I'm looking on amazon for a nice recliner and mouse-size TV.

 You're funny Liz.

Wendy and Neko, I hope you enjoyed your day. Let's see some more blues tonight. ;-)

Nice recovery Neko!

@Carla - Even better than yesterday, blue end of cycle. :-D Car repairs are supposed to be simple stuff - the one I was worried about was the plane engine repairs. DH got to test pilot them, but just called, he's down OK. DH owns a 1/5th share of a Cessna.

@Amy - Chicken necks and gizzards (you do them raw although you probably could cook the gizzards) you can get at the butcher or meat section of a supermarket. They are mostly considered surplus parts so pretty cheap. The freeze dried stuff I buy at specialty pet food stores that also sell raw food. Less ick factor in the freeze dried stuff but they do cost more. I give about an inch of chicken neck a couple times a week, and keep them frozen. I can buy them in smaller pieces here already frozen. I haven't bought raw chicken gizzards, just seen them in the meat department. I have some freeze dried duck gizzards which are bigger, and they just got a snack of about 1/4 of one each. Civie's teeth have gotten better (less tartar) since I've started serving these.

@Liz - Just a small bouncette before onset, she's back to business now. Good luck on the mini TV. If cats watch mouse TV, what do mice watch?  My cousin used to find families in their traps before they armed them. Hope you get a singleton.

@Dyana - More painting - almost done, got a few dries days the next little while. Neko presented blues as suggested.

Good luck with your dose-tinkering, Wendy. I hope it will do the trick.

We have found that mice really like candy corn. So maybe in the new, comfy traps with mouse TV they can munch on candy corn while waiting to be released (the stores are full of it now).

Hope you had a good row today.

Ella, thanks for the tip. Our pest control man has found great success with Slim Jims! haha!

Wendy, hope you and Neko get the dosage figured out. Good luck on finishing up the painting! Always a nice feeling when it's finished. Happy Friday night!

Hi Wendy,
Good luck with adjusting Neko's dose!
I think you've narrowed down her night nadir enough! :-D

I'll do the larger piece of freeze dried treats for Ginger's teeth too!!
I wish I can find something for Lucy.
Lucy doesn't recognize freeze dried stuff as food.
She may do chicken neck.... I should remember to look for it when I go to the Korna next time.

Hi Wendy-

Neko is doing nice on Lev- The pinks are mostly gone and much flatter numbers!
Looks like you were able to get a good night sleep last night.

Snow - cool

It is cool in the morning and nice & warm in the afternoon. No clouds in the sky!
Loving AZ, but do miss the NW
