Anyone have ideas on how to control hand shaking to get a blood sample done? Jim has tremors and really wants to be more active in Magellan's care

I hold the meter in between my thumb and index finger lightly resting on my third. Because it is the Freestyle light meter, the blood drop goes in the side of the strip, not the top, so I sometimes I rest the heel/edge of my palm on Mav's head. It might take a little adjustment, but maybe with the meter you have, you can find a way for Jim to hold the meter so his palm gets some stability from resting against Magellan? I do the right ear, from the left side, left hand, if that makes sense. He might want to play around with which hand is more comfortable.
