Harley is starting out the day yellow. Would like to see blue but if he could keep up this yellow all day, I would be pleased. Will try and recover the numbers I lost from testing.

My meter went from 10/1 back to 8/31 and the numbers seem strange. Will try and see what I can do to update the ss.

Good luck with getting the numbers back.
I had a meter do something wonky once, and I called Lifescan the makers of my OneTouch meter. They are always very helpful. They sent me out a new meter the next day, and had me send my old one back to them (with free shipping) so they could do some testing on the problem.

Hi Sandy, I am planning on give a bit of HC food if he starts to drop more. My plan is to keep him yellow for as long as I can, then maybe drop to the blues. Would this "train" his liver not to dump sugar into his system..

Since he has been pink for so long and he is such a diving and bouncing boy, it may be a good idea not to let him drop too fast or too far. If you can manage that today that would be great.
Training is a process that will happen over time. I think if you are vigilant with each cycle, Harley could make great progress.

Good luck with using food to manage the curve and keep him more even thats what I do for Do Lou and hope Harley returns to blues soon for you

Too late to manage the yellows...way up in the pinks. I am going to use a TOR to get him back down.

Pattie,

This is only the 3rd cycle of 2.75u, correct? He may be having NDW. I recommend you wait it out.

Harley is soooo sensitive to R - I'd hate to see him get hammered down to the green lowlands only to then skyrocket to black.

Your $.02 is worth a lot. I did test before I was going to take the R out and he is coming down on his own. 322/+5. So, no R. I will keep an eye on him. He has been hanging the the pinks way too long and I worry abut kidneys.

I was able to retrieve the last few days numbers. Really strange. When the meter got to 9/30 it converted back to 8/31. Now it is on 9/2. I will get a new battery and reset it to the correct time and date.

You got a back up meter? I'm wondering about this ones accuracy, being that it's gone wonky with the dates, could it be reading BG wrong?

Why didn't I think of that...just checked. It came within the normal reading so the meter is not off.

Dang, I should have used just a itty bit of R. He needs to come down some. Tomorrow if numbers aren't better, he goes up to a full 3.0u.

Anything else going on with Harley? Is there a chance he got into some contraband?
 
Nope, no kibble. I have been watching like a hawk. Just looked at his ss and dose info is in there but it has been 2.75. Nothing is going on..very active and vocal as always. He did get extra food yesterday but that was the only time.

I know Sandy that one of your posts said that IAA had run it's course but I still feel like I am fighting something.
