Good Morning World! Welcome to our COLD home! Last Condo

DAKOTA
AMPS 295

Oh I LOVE seeing that yellow AMPS! We're seeing a LOT more yellows and not nearly as much bouncing now! I got some different ab drops for Dakota's eye which is working MUCH better than the other ones were - they didn't seem to be doing much. We've been doing them now for 3 days, his eye isn't leaking and is much clearer. I didn't care for those others anyway - they were steriod drops. These are just plain a/b. We're fighting a flea outbreak - haven't gotten them completely under control yet but I see less indication of them. We've had to dose everyone with flea meds, I don't like to use it on the cats but sometimes I have to anyway.

DH's knee is doing WONDERFUL now. It did develop a bit of ick at the deepest place but we were able to keep it from going to an infection. He's still keeping it wrapped heavily but no longer using the leg brace. Yesterday we built another dog kennel for Bug, he bent it the most he's done since the accident. We rebandaged it last night, weren't sure what it would look like but all the bending didn't break it open, the icky place is now clean with just new skin showing.

Bug's new kennel - didn't have hinges to build real door yet so built a temporary. We put her in it - about 60 seconds later she'd escaped already. We just sealed it. Until shopping monday, I have to lift her over the top - not easy as she's getting BIG and HEAVY! I'll be glad when we get it done.

They redid my Dad's medication and is now keeping him a bit more sedated late afternoon when Mother needs to leave. He began the 'take me home' again which was too hard on her. It's working much better for both of them as he doesn't get nearly as sad.

All else is going well - we got down to 43 degrees outside last night, only 57 right now, we're freezin' our southern behinds!

Lots of extra thoughts and prayers for all needing them - holding Kay Passa close as she struggles with losing her mother. We have so many new people showing up, I hope to find time to welcome some of them this weekend, I haven't done very well at that lately.

BIG HUGS to all that visit today - DANCE with us!!!

Nicely done, Dakota! How about a little blue? Great news on DH's knee! :-D :-D :-D Many vines for your folks, it's hard. Big hugs to you, Lyresa. And, Bug, you little rascal!

A yellow AMPS? I'll dance to that! :-D :-D :-D Yay, Dakota!!!

Never a dull moment at your place! Don't know how you juggle it all.

I'm so glad to hear your DH's knee is healing well and that your dad is doing somewhat better. Prayers continue for both of them.

Great news!!! On all accounts and great to see a sunny start to the day for Doc.

I'm glad DH is doing so much better. Sending many healing vines for your dad.

Hi Lyresa,
So glad to hear that the new drops are helping Doc's eye and that his numbers are improving.
So glad to hear that your DH's knee is improving.
Glad to hear that you are getting the fleas under control. I can't imagine how hard it must be when all the fuzzies have them!
I hope your father and mother are doing OK. It must be so difficult for them, dealing with an illness like that.

Have a good rest-of-the-weekend. Thinking of you all,

Ella & Rusty

:-D :-D :-D YAY! for a yellow amps! Ugh on th fleas, we've got then too but not too bad. 1 on Tess and 4 on Emma. Emma prbably brought Tess's into the house. I dosed everyone w/ Advantage yeterday, Frontline doesn't work around here any more.

Vine for your DM and DF. I hope the new meds can ease his mind. I know it is so hard when they just ask and ask to come home.
