Just when I think I've figured out his patterns, he gets a new playbook! I thought for sure he was going to surf yellow for another cycle. That's what I get for thinking! :roll: Not complaining, but it would help in planning my own activities if I had some idea what he was going to do. Oh wait, we are talking about a cat here. Never mind. :lol:

Sasha is still not feeling ill, but her appy isn't great. Baby food seems to be the one thing I can get her to eat more than three bites of, so I'm giving her that. She also has no problem eating her dry food. At least I know she's getting the nutrients she needs, but I wish she would eat more of the moist. It's hard to know how much she's actually eating when she grazes on the dry.

Well, I'm off to get dressed, then time to give kitties their meds and get a quick test to see if Cinco will let us run out for an hour or so. Hope everyone is having a great Caturday!

Are my eyes deceiving me, or is this an early Cinco condo?? LOL. I read your condo yesterday about not firing on all cylinders and laughed, and I'm SO glad I'm not the only one who is a fuzzy mess in the morning. It reminded me so much of me...I only function mornings since work requires it of me, haha. I may be UP on my days off, but it doesn't mean I want to speak to anyone coherently;)

Anyways, Cinco looks grand (and heading back to green?) and is properly keeping the beans crazy like the good kitty he is. Continued appy/feel good vines to Sasha, and Cinco, and all the rest of the family too. I'm glad you had a good time at the concert, it sounds like a busy night but at least you didn't miss any of it! Have a good weekend, Tricia:)

Looks like Cinco leveled off and surfed blue while we were gone (about 1.5 hours). A good boy, indeed.

When I went upstairs to get dressed, I stopped to check on Sasha, who had been sunning herself on the guest room bed. She had thrown up the little bit of her breakfast I'd gotten her to eat. :o While I was cleaning it up, I set the plate with the remaining food down next to her, and she ate it all! :roll: Guess she felt better after throwing up. I took up a little more, and she ate that, too! I had given her the ondansetron about an hour before offering the food. Now I'm wondering if I need to wait longer in between?

Rachel, I do occasionally get my condo up before noon Pacific Time - but only if I have avoided getting hung up reading everyone else's condos first! ;-) :lol: This morning I knew we wanted to go out, so I decided to just read one or two and get mine posted before we left.

Lyresa, I've tried so many times in my life to be more of a morning person, and it's just not happening. I can stay up all night with no problem, but don't ask me to get up before 8:30 unless it's vital! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person in the world that doesn't get up early and function just fine. Thanks for letting me know I'm in good company!

Do you know how much this drives me crazy when I see you're online, but there's no Cinco condo. Ugghhh..... :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm so sorry to see that Cinco has felt it necessary to start creating to do lists. As you know, I have personal experience with those types of lists, and the end results typically do not work out in favor of the humans. ;-) nailbite_smile

I hope Cinco let's you get out for a little while tonight. How much longer in the cone?

You should know better than to try and figure out a cat. They love to keep us on our toes. Nice blues today for Cinco. I hope Sasha is feeling better. That's good she at some after she threw up.

Carla, you are soooo right!

Cinco gets the sutures out on Tuesday. I'm not going to say for sure the cone will come off then, as I recall last time, we had to keep it on for a while due to the leg irritation. To head that off, I just attempted to give his leg a good cleaning. I put some olive oil on it and rubbed it in, then took a warm washcloth and cleaned it off. I was going to use some baby shampoo, too, but Cinco was so upset and struggling so much I decided not to. Then he peed all over me!! :o I tried to clean him off after that, but he was not at all interested! :roll: You'd think they'd appreciate our attempts to help them, but nooooo! This is the thanks I get! :roll: :roll: :roll: :lol:

That's right. I can't stand not knowing how "my" kitties and humans are doing. And I gave up my patience pants a long time ago, so stop making me wait. ;-)

Oh, no. :shock: My immediate thoughts are that he may be trying to kill you with Feline Pee Disease, which I would imagine is similar to the Feline Slobber Disease Jersey is trying to infect me with. (Sorry, but what else can you do but laugh after your kitty pees on you? Been there, done that. ohmygod_smile )

In all sincerity, I'm sorry things went so poorly this evening. :YMHUG:

Thanks, Ella. We decided Cinco should be okay tonight so we are off to Sac for dinner and cards.

Shelly, I am so glad you are back posting often. I really missed your sense of humor after Jersey went OTJ. I wonder what the antidote for Feline Slobber Disease would be? Perhaps I'll experiment tonight with some different potions at the restaurant. ;-)
 
Way to go Cinco! That'll show her! Although I really don't know what she's complaining about..she tried to douse you with warm liquid...seems like the only fair thing to do is douse her back! Since we don't have opposable thumbs, it's not like we can turn on the faucet! ~ China

Gotta giggle at the peeing...We sure do put up with a lot from our babies, don't we?

Cinco's looking great lately...don't know what he and China have been doing behind our backs, but other than the conspiracy to drive us absolutely bonkers, I'm liking their numbers

Wow, I can't believe it's already almost time for Cinco's sutures to come out! I hope he can ditch the cone, too. Yay for ABS going well! Boo for getting peed on (sorry, like Chris, I kinda had to :lol: !)! I hope Sasha's appy is better today. One interesting thing...My Dad's taste buds just shut down from the chemo...food literally tastes like nothing. I wonder if our kitties end up in the same boat, and that's why their appies can slow down when they're on chemo. I also did see an article that said the loss of taste is usually temporary. ANyway...maybe just something to keep an eye out for with sweet little Sasha. Sending quick healing prayers for her and Cinco!
