Thanks for the input on yesterdays condo Julie and Marje. My hope is to feed Chris to maintain his weight, not to overfeed, not to underfeed trying to get him to lose weight like the vet wants. Hope to find that number where he won't gain, but also feels satisfied enough to not be crazy begging and not bouncy in his numbers. Once we get him regulated more so the diabetes isn't adding hunger cravings, then we can work on reduced calories.
His number last night when I got home late from work and he didn't get any food from +5.5 to just 40 min before shot seems to say that extra feeding is helping hold his numbers flatter. We will to get the autofeeders out of storage today. Figure out which style he can't break into.
Today Chris is trying something new to baffle foster mom by being up this late in the cycle. He is very playful right now. Hopefully we can get him up and moving when he plays to help with the weight loss and to build some muscle. Right now he just rolls over and bats at things. Most moving toys he runs away from (I guess that's exercise too  ).
Cecil was still 105 last night, I fell asleep before giving him his evening dose of ear meds. This morning we got them into him and I just tested him a few hours after that and he's back down to 84
