Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Ahhhhhh.... elixir! Thanks Elsa), and Happy Catmint Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Paw Prints Pizza is open and ready for business! They are running a Caturday Catnip special today, in honor of Catmint Caturday - lots of nip in those pies! They have even used their signature nip cheese. Best order early! OOOOOOOOO! They have perfected their NY Style hot dog pies. MAJOR YUM!!!! Try one, you'll see! Just order the Mannie and Stu Special! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It is my bean's fav! SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday, and a great week. The days with the boys have been good ones! We have been very busy, that part of life has not changed. Will it ever? ;-) NOPE!! :-D :-D :-D    What a BUSY week! I think I will always prefer it that way. :-D   We have been swimming, and hiking, a day on the river, and urban parks. We have had lunches at rivers edge, car camping some too, and on grassy lawns picnic style. These days are wonderful ones. Nicholas, on the day of our river trip tells me after we were done that "this was the best day ever!" you gotta love that. William's face just lights up when he sees the outdoors, he can't get out of his car seat fast enough. Life is good! :-D :-D :-D

Fall is upon the boys, with their scheduling and activities. We are fine tuning all, with some minor adjustments. Last week actually went fairly well. William has taken well to the pool, Nicholas is enjoying school. YAY!!!. The kitties are into Fall too. There sure is alot of napping going on, and seeking out of the fleece blankets. Our mornings together, with the boys, are still has fun filled as always. Breffis's rule, with William eating just about the same foods as nicholas. That boy has such a fondness for pancakes and sausages. Funny, but Nicholas still watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse most morning he is here. It's nice to think some things remain constant.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Night were our swimming days this week. That's alot of pool time! William went Monday and Thursday, Nicholas Monday, Wednesday and Friday nght. The big pool also reopened! Nicholas was more than elated. Nicholas still loves going, and continues to do well in the pool. He's been making lots of new friends when he goes. it's fun to see him connect up with kids when he gets there. Nicholas and I will continue to swim on Friday night, as he so loves that experience, at a pool that is not his normal pool. They have been very fun times for him. We are still trying to "convince" Nicholas that swim lessons would be great, but he is adamant that he does not want to do them. silly boy! All in good time. I continue teach him what I can, review what he learned from the day he swam with one of the guards, and marvel at how well he does on his own. Nicholas has been trying very hard to swim what one considers a normal swim: big arms, kicks. Last night he made several laps in the lazy river, trying to do just that. Not too badly either! This jas become one of his favorite things to do there. That river is awesome, fast, and alot of fun. He spent what was close to 20 minutes at the Snohomish pool on Friday night jumping in, swimming out to me and swimming back to the wall, and repeating that process over and over again. All on his own. Awesome! Pool time with William was great. He has taken to this just like his brother did. He loves all he did. We continue to do all we can just to let him try everything. We even had a few dunks under water, those he didn't mind, no fuss, no tears, no fear. I put him through the same "drills" I did with Nicholas, we stayed about an hour, until he was tired. We had a few tries with blowing bubbles in the water, with alot of success. It is so great to see that he doesn't mind putting his face in the water, even did a few on his own. Success I think. This should be fun. GO NICK! GO WILLIAM!

Nicholas still looks forward to our after swim Friday Night Burger Feast (sorry no photos: Picassa would not process the upload. ...) That is just so fun: burgers and fries, just him and me, with lots of fun stories. He was so happy to see that burger and fries combo show up, just like always. Somehow I think that is part of the magic of Friday night swims: that he gets burgers etc after his swim. Yesterday we again talked about our week, That days river trip, trips to city parks and urban rivers, and future visit to the Skykomish River in Gold Bar, and Skykomish. He was really into that discussion, as he does remember last year in October when we went to the same river, and watched the big fish do their annual run. I so hope to repeat that again this year. We tries this Friday, but only saw one fish, so perhaps we need to wait a week or so. He still talks about his camping trip with his family, and wants to go back. What fun time, talking through mouthfuls full of burgers and fries.  The drive home was such a hoot. remember that song "on top of spaghetti all covered with cheese, I lost my meatball when somebody sneezed?" We sang that all the way home, his and Bear. I pretended to be Bear, who couldn't get the song right, kept getting the wrong things, like lot dogs instead of a meatball. Nicholas just laughed and laughed all the way home. What a fun drive!

Monday morning, after the boys swim time, I spent the afternoon in Seattle, visiting my friend for coffee and some catch up. I am so glad that this still will fit into the fall lineup! :-D

Tuesday was my day. I did make it our on a hike, just not the one I really wanted. I had so hoped to make the North Cascades, see that fall color... not today. Weather was really iffy, with rains on and off, and some of the road and mtns were reporting snow for a bit this morning. So.... I took the easy way out, and went to Whidbey Island instead. One can never go wrong with Whidbey! The drive on SR 20 was great! The sun was making an attempt heading west, which made the drive great. Whidbey Island an be so picturesque! I stopped in at a small lake, Pass Lake, on the way there, just to see it. Beautiful! My destination was the bluffs of Ebey State Park, and area just north of Coupeville. LOVED that hike, a cliff hike, that offered such great views of the sound, and the mountains. It was a new section of whidbey today for me: fort ebey state park, rather than deception or ebey's landing. That was nice. I really enjoyed it. Good weather, a little windy but pretty! I visited the war gunnery there too. That was cool! There were about three guys there that were attempting to parasail. I'm not to sure if they ever got them off the ground or not. The winds were good, but kept pushing them back. One guy did get off the ground, onlt to end up not taking any air, and over the side of the cliff he went. He just couldn't get the lift, so visited the beach instead of the skies. A really fun time watching those guys. Also went to Coupeville, just cuz I could, which ia very small quaint town south of the park. I spent maybe an hour there window shopping. Nice little town. Did the touristy thing too and walked the Deception Pass Bridge on the way home. all in all, a nice day on whidbey. WOO HOO!

AND!!! I so thought of all the LL kitties, especially Mannie and Tess when I watched those parasails... Tess? you remember???? You were, are, so good at it! Mannie tried, but he always ended up on the stratosphere!

Wednesday afternoon, after Nicholas's swim we were off to a river park in Bothell. We had such fun there a week or so ago that we decided to go back. They too have a nice playground area , and well as a good river trail walk, with a few access points where the boys can get down to waters edge. It is always fun to be able to do that there, as the ducks come and visit every time. we got lucky with the weather that day too, as it had rained all morning By time time we made the park, the sun was beginning to show, and stayed with us the whole time we were there. Nicholas wanted to walk some of the trail too. The fall colors there are starting to show. Really nice! We found a wetlands area, there there were a few heron. that was fun, and a new first for Nicholas. William was content with all the sticks and rocks and fallen leaves he found. Way too funny, but cool too. We brought some food for the ducks. Nicholas had such fun feeding them. He had quite the audience. William was busy chanting: " ducks, ducks, ducks, ducks! "

Thursday after William's swimming and Nicholas's school We crammed in a visit to a city park Edmonds City Park. It is a new one for us, but I think it will be a favorite of Nicholas's. The playground equipment is really nice, and new (!!!) with good challenges for him, lots of climbing apparatus and connecting rope ladders.    The only thing missing there is a zip line. They do have his other favorite, they corkscrew and a circular version of the monkey bars,. That was cool, he made it half way around that one. He is so thrilled that he could. GO NICK! He continues to make new friends during our visits there, it is nice that he is willing to play with whomever he meets there. It is so great to be able to watch him play with boys his own age. or even older for that matter. They run and climb on everything. The laughs for them are endless. William watches it all, trying so much to be part of the group. He has discovered that slides are really fun, so I spent some time with him letting, with help, him slide on down. ;-) They also had some interaction things for him, circular wheels he can turn, and they do various things. Those were a big hit. It is so wonderful that we can find such great places to visit so close to home. Great times for the boys!

Friday was our travel day. :-D :-D :-D We affectionately called it Bear and Bear II's Road Trip. We ended up on the Skykomish River, and the boy's had a blast. Weather it was great too. Sunshine all day long. We went to Index yesterday, where the road has been washed out, hoping for some fish on the run, only found one, a goner. Nicholas had fun looking for them, Guess we were a bit early for the fish, so maybe try again next week. We also stopped in at the trout creek junction, maybe a dozen yards down from the washout. I really do like that spot. Nicholas kept telling me over and over how much he likes that spot, so no doubt we will go back until we do see them. It is a good spot, as he can get up close and personnel, with the fish, and in the river somewhat. I really hope they are right on the projections of a big run. that would be so great to see and experience. it does the heart good, and the soul, to see those two boys come alive when they are in places like this. Nicholas wasn't too sure on the trout creek section, took a little "convincing" to get him to walk though the pullout, tress etc to see the river. Once he did he was all over the place. That section is gorgeous, but full of boulders etc, takes a it of maneuvering for him. He was so adamant that he be able to get on top of the river, so to speak. It was great to watch him be careful, get though the rocks, analyze before he moved etc. Really great to see a three year old pick the safest route. William just loved it all. LOL: a battle to get him "dry" - four changes of clothes. haha. anyways... a really great day. Nicholas tells me after we were done that "this was the best day ever!" you gotta love that. A couple of miles in from the Index cutoff there is a small pullout that offers a stellar view of the river. We stopped there before going home so that William could get some food, Nicholas ended up eating too, but point is; I sat there with them both, watched the little guy as he ate and watched the river. Nicholas asks if we can stay there for a bit. so we did, maybe 15 minutes while he just munched on crackers and watched the river flow. The smile on his face was awesome. so..... excellent day.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties are all doing well. Not too much new with them... Fall mode is here, they are bunkering down, but still yearning for the great outdoors when the sun is out. Elsa is still some what grounded after her "late night" adventure a few weeks ago, and when out she doesn't stay long. Bug could care less, Lola is ALWAYS grounded. We will have the deck door replaced soon, step one on the catio development. I still haven't done much more than that. I was able to price out what I really would like to build for the kitties, and had a severe case of sticker shock.  So back to the drawing board on that one.  Lola, I have not forgotten your catio.... but you may have to wait a bit longer. ;-) Nicholas continues to talk about Mannie. They have been such good discussions. At one point he told me that he really wishes Mannie could come home. ;-) Nicholas. so do I.

Have a great caturday everyone. Sorry this post it late today. Sorry too I missed everyone's condos yesterday too. Time this morning, and the days, have gotten away from me. At least the shopping is done, and the laundry. :-D I am off in a few for an afternoon walk in the woods. The day has turned warm, just not very sunny. WOOT!

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

Re: 10/4 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Happy Caturday LL!!

It sounds like another busy week again. I'm glad you got some hikes in and the boys were able to enjoy outside time. It's great they got so much swimming in this week since they love it so much. I hope you can work out a way to get the catio for the kitties. I wish things like that weren't so expensive.

Re: 10/4 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Happy Caturday LL!!

Hi Michelle,
What a great week for you and the boys. I hope you can get back to the Skykomish next week when the fish may be running. The pics of the boys at the river are wonderful.

It's great that you got out for your Tuesday hike and had so much variety. Great pics!

Rusty wants to remind Elsa, Bug and Lola that this next week will be the Full Hunters' Moon Party. Come over to help plan, kitties!

Have a good rest of the weekend,

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 10/4-5 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Happy Sunday LL!!

Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! I Love coffee!), and Happy Sunday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Coffee is on, Lola and Bug , founders of Paw Prints Pizza, are ready to go! Want pizza? it is MEGA GOOD! They are busy getting ready for.... uh.... I dunno! but there sure is a flurry of activity in the kitchen. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. For my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....... and orange drizzle! SWEET OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

Good morning everyone. I hope your Caturday was a good one. It was a rather laid back one here, once I got the basics done, like shopping and laundry. We finally got some sun mid-afternoon, so I headed on out for a woods to the shore walk, my normal Carurday Walk through Meadowdale. That was a nice time. Fall is finally starting to produce some good fall color here. Yahoo on that! In a week of so it should be really pretty in those woods, and about town. I really do enjoy this time of year.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties are all doing well this morning. Bug has been chasing everyone around the house this morning. Elsa finally turned her back on him and went back to bed. Can't say that I blame her. Lola is busy running from window to window, making sure all is well out there. It seems that our yard has become a walk through route for some of the neighborhood cats. She gets so wound up whenever she spots one. Lots of meowing and all is on high alert. it is interesting that she doesn't hiss or growl, just more curious than anything else. Last night she decided sleeping under the covers was the place to go. Kinda cool. Once in a while she will do that, stays maybe 30 minutes before she takes off on another adventure. Normalcy in MusketeerVille! cat_pet_icon

Enjoy your day LL! it should be a great weather day here: sunny and 71. I will have to make sure there is outdoor time with weather like that. It would probably be good to get some fall yard maintenance done. well maybe on that....

Morning Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) That it was, busy! But a good busy. Me too ion those hikes. I will miss being able to go to the mountains when the snow season starts. The boys sure did enjoy the time outdoors too, we went to some great places. I agree on the swim stuff. They really do enjoy the time spent there. Me too on that catio - I just could not believe how expensive it was to have someone some and build one for here with a few runs, and a couple of enclosures. Oh well, we will keep looking for something that we can do for the kitties.

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) THX, it was a great week. I really enjoyed all that we did. Me too on the Skykomish. It was so fun to see that run last year, and really hope we can make that happen for them again this year. TX too on the pics. It is such a pretty spot. I did enjoy the hike this week, lots to do and see at Deception, and on Whidbey. It is nice that one can go and hike there all year. I will make sure that Lola, Bug and Elsa know that the full moon is coming. One knows how they like to party. :-D Hugs and scritches back at ya!

Re: 10/4-5 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Happy Sunday LL!!

There are days when I am really grateful to be living where I do. I did head on out early this morning to walk the beach at Picnic Point. There really wasn't much of a sunrise, but the skies were clear, the sun just starting to be seen over the hills. It was a calm and peaceful morning there. Guys were out early to go fishing too. By the time I left the sound was dotted with dozens of fishing boats, the shore dotted with a dozen guys up to their waists in water, fishing poles in hand. There were a few folks out with their dogs. it is always such a fun to watch these dogs playing in the water. It has been a great morning.

Enjoy your day LL!!

Re: 10/4-5 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Happy Sunday LL!!

Good morning Michelle! Sorry I missed loose lips all week, but nearly all 35 bowl are made and glazed for Empty bowls! You've been as busy as usual. The boys sure are lucky to have a grammy like you.

LOLA!!! Tess finally found the parasails and says she will show us, but we gotta wait until it cools down and the wind is back onshore. Even I stayed inside this week. (Well the beans MADE me stay inside! cat(2)_steam ) I'll let you know! -- Emma, kitteh who wants OUT again!

Re: 10/4-5 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Happy Sunday LL!!

Whew....finally a few minutes to get caught up in your whirlwind  !!! I hope you are well-rested for the next round of non-stop life with the boys!!

Re: 10/4-6 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Cheery Cherry Monday!!

Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Elsa - lots (!!) please! This bean is so sleepy...), and Happy Cheery Cherry Monday
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, are making their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! Anybody up for a cherry pizza? OH!!! Get ready all you LL kitties! The full moon is coming, ans we gots to par-tay! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! We gots CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE too! as well as cheery cherry frappes! I love cheery cherry Mondays.

Happy Monday everyone. I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was rather laid back, kinda mellow, and a nice time of slowdown after three crazy busy days with the boys. The weather here has been fantastic, with sunny skies, and temps in the low 70's. That i itself is incredible, as this is, after all, Seattle. I suppose that those infamous rains will be here soon enough. From all accounts that may be by next weekend when we are predicted to have several days of really wet stuff, temps in the low 40's at night, mid 50's during the day. oh boy.... in the meantime, we sure are enjoying our good fortune. After a morning spent at Picnic Point Beach, love those early morning bring up the sun beach walks, I was home for some much needed yard work, and a few errands, On the way home I was near a local lake, Scriber Lake, in downtown Lynnwood so decided to stop and walk the loop trail. The opportunity was there, so why not? The loop is very short, only a mile, but it was a nice diversion , and some time on the "water". All in all, a decent day!

Normalcy in MusketerVille!   ALL the kitties are sound asleep as I type this. Even Lola, who is camped out on my lap as I attempt to type this. She is one content mellow kitty this morning... purr purr purr! I am waiting for the crazy to kick in. No doubt soon enough she will be back at being Lola. Usually the marathon thunder runs gets everyone going. With the weather being so nice today I hope to be able to open a few windows for them all. Lola just loves to sit and watch the outdoors, get a few sniffs, look for other kitties walking through the yard. and probably planning her escape. Elsa I will let out at some point during the day. She is so used to being able to do that, so I will get her sometime today. She's been very good the past few weeks with coming back soon. And Bug? He likes his fleece on these fall days. Outside? he could care less. A definite case here of Normalcy in MusketerVille! cat_pet_icon

Have a great day everyone. It is a swim morning today for me: with the other grandparents and Nicholas. SO off I go in a bit. Today William is at the library with the other grandma, so it will just be me, Bob (g/pa) and Nicholas in the pool. I so hope this joint venture goes well today. After pool time I am off to Snoqualmie Pass to do some hiking. it will be a short one, due to time constraints. I have found a 3 mile lake hike, at the pass, that looks like it will fill the bill today. I hope to see some fall color too at the pass, that should be in full swing about now. Paws crossed!

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) I love your bowls. I think John posted a photo of one of them. Very nice! hat a great project. Nice though I bet to be done, have all finished. No worries on all the condo stuff. THX so much on the boys comment. they are fun, keep me busy with cool things, so we enjoy this time while we have it. Soon enlighten they will be in school, and things will evolve once again.
Emma! WOOT! I am so glad that Tess found the parasails! Mannie says that they are mega cool! Well, Elsa says that Mannie said they were. SO I will be very patient and wait for the cooler trmps and stuff. That is so hard, being patient! OOOOO! They MADE you stay inside? no way! well I had too too. Bummer! ~~ Lola, planning her next escape!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) LOL, but that says it well: whirlwind! Well... I hope so too on the rested! So far it is shaping up to be another busy week. ;-) Bring it on, as they say. :-D

Nicholas continues to talk about Mannie. They have been such good discussions. At one point he told me that he really wishes Mannie could come home. ;-) Nicholas. so do I.

Not gonna lie...I just got teary-eyed. I know I haven't been on the board lately...stupid work has just bogged me down. But I think of all the LL kitties (past and present) and Mannie is "big one" for me. Every time Shasta and I lay in a sunbeam...it is totally a Mannie-beam. Wishing you and the grandkids lots of swimming fun and hiking fun! Happy Fall/Happy Monday, Michelle!

Re: 10/4-7 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Happy Tuna Tuesday LL!!

Good Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! I just love ~O) ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! and as a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! Bug and Lola are very busy getting ready for the Full Moon party. I can hardly wait~ MOON PIES!!!! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... OH! forget it... no tuna mochas. BLECH!

Happy Tuesday everyone I hope your week was off to a good start. One needs good Mondays! Mine was BUSY! well duh.... I guess. it was a swim morning for Nicholas. it is the other grandparents day to watch the boys, and I go to help with the pool stuff on Mondays. Normally William would come too, but yesterday was a library story time for him. He will be with us next Monday. Nicholas had a great morning swimming. We have not seen the guard that worked with him since that time, but I keep hoping we will. I am seriously toying with the idea of seeing if I can schedule a private lesson thing with her on the days it is just Nicholas and I, as he really likes her. We shall see. It was a fun swim tie for him yesterday. He and I and his Grandpa on dis dad's side had lots of fun doing just about all he could do there. We even got some instruction in amongst all that play.

Yesterday was a day for me, after the morning swim with Nicholas. I went to Snoqualmie Pass, did a section of the PCT that leads to Lodge Lake. I needed something that was more or less close to home, a short hike, as my time was limited only having the afternoon. This one seemed to fit the bill. That is a very nice trail, lakes are pretty. Hiking part of the PCT is alwyas a treat. The only drawback is that you hike, for a bit, under the ski lifts. I really didn't mind that, as that was where most of the fall color was. And then there is that never ending drone of the I90 freeway, which is right next to the trail. That part I could have done without. But all in all, made for a great afternoon. Fall color has come to the Pass, it was very pretty: lots of red and oranges and yellows. Even the Mini Road Trip drive there was full of fall color, with the potential for lots more. Drive was nice, just way too much traffic going home. An hour drive took me two. Sheshhh on that. Oh well, I still had a great time!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille.   All continues to be well with the kitties. it is foggy this AM, they know it, and all have gone BTB. Lola is sleeping on my lap, as I type this. Some editor in chief she is: asleep on the job.  I out up the Halloween decor this past weekend, for the boys. Lola and Bug are busy rearranging it all.    Love these cats. Elsa could care less. The sun is out in the afternoons here with warm temps, so she is more interested in making sure all is secure in the back yard. She continues to make those treks short, much to my relief. All is well in MusketeerVille! cat_pet_icon

Have a great Tuesday everyone! I am off in a few to meet my son for breffis. YUM! Nicholas has a school filed trip to a pumpkin patch this morning, so I will go along to help out, with his mom and William. I believable that the other grandparents are coming too, so it should be a fun morning. If all goes well, and there is time for my DD and the boys, maybe sometime at the local park after that. :-D

I think of Mannie all the time, those moments that were uniquely his: when the kitties play with his nanner stash, play in those sunbeams only he could seem to find. What great times they were. i think it is so wodnerful too that Nihcolas still remembers them too. THX on the pool stuff, we had a great time. Hike was great too! Re: 10/4-7 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Happy Tuna Tuesday LL!!

Sounds like everything is moving along there. The boys keep busy busy, which means YOU keep busy busy. Love it! I hope Nicholas decides swim lessons are cool. Fun times on the hike yesterday for you. Beautiful place. Love the fall colors. We don't really get much of that here and it is one thing I really miss from growing up in Iowa.

BTB is a great place to be. Wish I was there as well. Even Lola sleeping? She must be resting up.

Have a great breffis with Anthony. Yum is right! Fun times at the pumpkin patch too.

Re: 10/4-7 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Happy Tuna Tuesday LL!!

I am so saddened tonight to learn of Zener's crossing to the Bridge. I will miss you Z-Man. Such a sad day for all of us in LL. Fly free little one, none of us will ever forget you.

I hope everyone has had a great Tuesday, Our visit to the Pumpkin Patch was a huge success. "The Farm" in Snohomish was so well prepared for the onslaught of so many little pre-schoolers. There had to have been 10 or more schools there. All was well organized, and they were very good at keeping things moving, and the kids happy. We had a great time. Both boys cam home with pumpkins and smiles on their faces. very cool!

Hi Melissa ~O) :-D More than true on that busy busy part. that they do! But it is a fun busy. THX on the hike, it was very pretty there. it is nice to find one that doesn't take the day too for days when I don't have alot of time. It is cine to see the fall colors, looks like it will be a good year for it here. So sorry you don't have much of that there - I know I'd miss it alot too. I so look forward to fall and the color every year. LOL on the BTB and Lola - no doubt on the resting up. It seem so off when I do find her sleeping. THX on today. All was alot of fun.

Re: 10/4-7 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Happy Tuna Tuesday LL!!

Hi Michelle - good to hear and see that you've been taking advantage of this fine summer October weather. And how cute are the boys in the pumpkin patch. That always makes for great pics.

Sad indeed tonight in LL. But Mannie has regained an old friend. :YMHUG:

Re: 10/4-7 LOOSE LIPS: Playin' HARD! Whiskers Wednesday! LL!

Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Whiskers Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WHISKERS WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be whiskers pizzas, just whiskers Wednesday. Whatever that means.... Excellent pizzas to the best set of whiskers. Lola says she will win! HUH? so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings, with no whiskers. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

Hi Wendy ~O) ~O) ~O) Oh yes on that weather. It has been a glorious fall so far. Looks like we are in for change come next week, rains predicted for the entire week. I so hope they are wrong on that one. The fog is staring here for us too, we always get an abundance of that here in October. A fine setting for yesterday's Pumpkin patch visit. That sure was fun. They did such a good job at that Farm, well done! I so agree on the day day in LL, but now too Zener will be will looked after at the bridge. Mannie will take care of him.
