May this be a blessed day:coffee: It started at 29 degrees here, but heading up to 50+ It went from summer to winter and will hopefully settle on fall, soon:) My big ficus trees have come inside for a few months (the larger one is in the garage) - the cats love the addition. Foil covering the dirt around the tree keeps them from using it as a litter box!

Tina chased her spider and played last night, with Hobbes jumping in on the games in his silly, spastic way. She still has this newer, I AM CAT, attitude about her:cool: :cat::D

She is hungrier too -- since her thyroid is working more efficiently, she has lost from 13.2 to 12.5 to 11.14 pounds in three weeks, and looks great. But that was fast weight loss. I don't want her losing more though, so I need to feed extra, especially since she's asking for more. @Marje and Gracie I was a little shocked to see more weight loss - any extra advice? Thank you! Should I wait another week for blood work as planned? Nine more days to the 1 month recheck on kidneys and thyroid.

Healing vines to all of our kitties - especially the more critical - Enjoy the day!

I think our cats see spiders before we do. We always get a bunch in our house in the fall, but now that we've had several hard freezes they've disappeared. I'm glad that Tina is feeling so much better that she is playing more.
Oh Suzanne, I wasn't clear - I haven't seen many of those real spiders lately either! It's a spider on a long string with a pole! I've even taken these to other people who had cats that wouldn't play, and they were a hit! Its a red and black spider that is almost indestructible. I would NOT want to see one of those in the house!!

Happy to hear Tina is doing well & playing!

LOL! I was 'wondering' if she would really chase a real spider? :p Glad to hear it was the kind we all like better...sounds like she really is feeling so much better! It's amazing how when they rebound, they really do rebound! Love the report about the weight loss too..hope it's not too much too fast..hopefully Marje will know...I wish I could get that kind of action on my diet - ha!

Enjoy your evening with the kids! Have a happy Halloween...tell Tina that Luci will be on the taster blankets this evening and she should sto by to say hi to Miss Gimpy...

It’s best to discuss this with your vet. That does seem alot of weight in a short time.

I thought about that after asking you. You just seem more educated than my vet!! I'm picking up medication for another kitty at the vet's office tomorrow, and will ask about Tina's weight loss. I'm thinking this dose of Levothyroxine she's getting may be too much. I hope they'll go ahead and do bloodwork now.
Thank you and give your precious kitties some love from us:):cat:

I appreciate the vote of confidence but I’d feel better you asking the vet about that.
