Rosie started the day with an unusually high AMPS. I suspect too many reductions were made too quickly and an increase will soon be needed, but I'll hold off until we have a day with no green because consistency has been illusive.

Good news: consistency in dose with a sixth cycle at the same dose, significant bowel movement today after some very unimpressive BMs, and she continues to do well with ABs and SQs with a good appetite.

I'm still worried because I have no update yet on C&S to confirm we are on the right track to resolve the issues found in her recent BW (high WBC, low kidney values thought to be bladder / kidney infection).

Yesterday.

Vet just called to report C&S came back negative. The current theory is Rosie has an unknown infection. As she is responding well to ABs and fluids, the plan is to continue and re-check WBC and kidney values in a week to confirm progress in knocking down the infection.

I'm glad she is feeling better but frustrated we don't know what it is. Vet will consult with an internist to confirm we aren't missing anything because Rosie is "complicated". ;)
