It's that kind of morning:
1. Dropping numbers through the last half of last night's cycle.
2. Stall half an hour to make sure she's coming up. Works with the time change manipulation, too. But I won't get a +2.75, just a +2 before running out to work.
3. Dog whines and whines and whines. Goes to the clinic today for full senior work up and ultrasound. No breakfast. OMG, poor thing is just beside himself...Well, just beside me! Whining and whining.
4. Cats are whining and whining and whining. They have to wait an extra 1/2 hour for breakfast while we stall with Polly...
5. Test Polly. OK, we can shoot. She doesn't want to eat. Breakfast buffet for ten minutes. Fortiflora. Finally, she eats enough, I shoot.
6. Other cats get fed. Gobble, gobble, gobble.
7. Dog looks very confused. Huh? Me? Breakfast? Whine, whine, whine.
8. Polly comes out of the bathroom looking for leftovers. Her plate is still 1/4 full in the bathroom. No leftovers from the siblings. Whine, whine, whine.
9. Dog gets a meatball with his pills. Huh, that's all there is? Whine, whine, whine.
10. Boomer scarfed breakfast; now splatters it all over the back hallway with a grand barf. Dog gets half of it before I can clean it up. Can't wait 'til the clinic asks me if he ate anything this morning. "Yea, about 1/4 cup of cat puke!"
11. Polly is now trying to take the lids off the tins holding her 2nd breakfast, knocking the cans from the counter to the floor. Dog wants to help in the de-liding process.
12. And it's freakin' Friday when I don't have any flexibility at work. (nuts to that, I'm still sneaking home around +4 or so to see how Polly's doing)
And to think when my feet hit the floor this early a.m. I was thinking about how nice a btb would be. After all, I didn't have to go through the dog's one hour post pill breakfast routine!
Yeah. It's Friday.
Will, please don't whine the entire car ride to the clinic. Oh, and please, Will, good test results today.
Vines and wishes. And have a frightfully wonderful Halloween.
