Today started off in the same range as yesterday - yellow, pretty good for Papaya. We are happily done with the big can of fishy Friskies so she got the usual chicken flavour this morning. This meant that she didn't wolf down the second breakfast I left out - in fact it just sat there until I rolled over at 6:00 AM, looked at the time, and brought the plate right over to her so she would eat it. You would THINK spreading the food out instead of getting a bunch right at PS would mean no dive, right? Ha. She hasn't really been doing too many of those dives lately so I was a bit surprised to see that 53 at +4. Really, Papaya? On a work day? I fed her a generous portion of 14% and left lots of food out for her by the bed. I'm sure the food will keep her safe, but I really hope that dive doesn't propel her back into the crazy bounce/dive cycle since she has been showing signs of leveling out.

Thanks for the visits last night Jess and Wendy. Wendy - I tossed Papaya a baseball-sized ball of yarn last night to see what she'd do with it, and she went crazy on it, scratching at it with her back feet and tearing at it with her teeth. Then she decided it wasn't going to fight back and completely ignored it from then on! Usually she seems more interested in watching the ends of the knitting needles move, which makes me NERVOUS!!

Have a good day everyone!

Wow on Papaya's drop!! Hope she surfs safely, Amy. It is so hard to leave them when they are "active."
Hoping she skips a bounce this time :-D or it is just a little one

I hope Papaya surfs safely for you today and doesn't start the dive/bounce thing again. It's so hard to figure out what they are doing and how to stop those drops.

That's funny with the yarn. I hope she never jumps at the needles while you're using them.

Hi Jane and Carla! Hooray, still got a decent PMPS (was fearing black) although time will tell whether this cycle is going up or down! Thanks for your visits & have a nice evening.

Hi Amy, thanks for the visit last night! And yes I think my meter dose get stuck sometimes! I wish it would get stuck on some nicer numbers!
Those big drops always scare me! But almost everything about FD scares me. If it wasn't for this board I do not know what I would do! Tell Papaya no bouncing allowed! - Sam

Perhaps, Papaya was "experimenting" if she would get her fish back by cliff diving.
Look like she's having a nice cycle tonight.
